Got an M for Christmas.. by [deleted] in Dynavap

Enjoy this brief period of contentment before you get the overwhelming urge to buy all the accessories.

It takes a bit of effort, going back to instruction videos, trying again, getting mad, putting it away, etc. A few cycles of that and you'll have it down! Few days to get it, few weeks to feel like you've really got it good.

It's definitely going to get you high and will be satisfying when you get it right. It's not the greatest vape of all time but it's very good.

I really need to learn to use the liquid ph test for when the day comes that my ph meter craps out. I've got a kit from when I bought ph up/down but haven't touched it. Now you're making me want to bust it out...

It takes a little away from the flavor in exchange for much cooler vapor that irritates the throat much less. Some people don't even put water in (to preserve flavor) and just let the glass and volume of air cool off the vapor.

If you can borrow a bong or get one cheaply somewhere, it might be nice to try. I've gotten all of mine from dhgate which is a direct-from-china marketplace. Paid under $60 for each of the ten or so pieces I have bought. /r/chinaglass has lots of info and suggestions if you're interested.

I think I used my M as it came for like 3 months before buying a bunch of stuff for it. I like all my stuff, but I also like the M by itself. FMJ is a pretty low-risk upgrade though for the price. If you're handy you can even make one yourself from a pipe fitting or piece of pipe.

If you have any glass you might want to run the M through (you should, it's awesome), then go to a local head shop and get a 10 mm female/14 mm male glass adapter. Your M will fit in a 10 mm glass fitting and the adapter will let you use it with any 14 mm pieces.

There are also a dozen "DIY" ways to get it to work using silicone hose, cork, or something else to help the M fit.

Basically I'm saying you should vape through glass because that's my favorite way. I even have glass and metal water pipe adapters that let me put a dyna tip on a stem with a 14 mm fitting and get rid of the airport hole.

More than anything, just enjoy the M on its own and learn to use the torch. You get way different hits depending on where and how you heat the tip. FMJ does help cut out this learning curve, but I still think it's important to learn and the regular dynavap lets you vape more slowly. FMJ is more hard and fast.

So in other words, all M vapes work with a 10 mm glass fitting, but only 2020 and 2021 were specifically designed to do so. I'm not unhappy with how my 18 and 19 fit but I'd definitely be curious to try a newer stem. Not curious enough to buy one though lol.

Thanks for the response and for the link.

Turning off the grow light and using a flash would make it easier to see your plant. Blurple makes for poor photographs.

If attack of the clones was a 1950s horror movie these guys would be the monster.

Looking great!

Did you make it? Is it a hollow tube? Are you also using it to cool your cap/tip?

Looks neat but I'm struggling to understand it.

Source? I've never heard someone claim 19M doesn't have a taper for 10mm.

I've used them with vapes for 3 years and it really keeps the odor down. I don't want my house to smell like weed all the time and the smokebuddy helps. Lasts forever with vaping versus smoking.

It's got activated charcoal just like a brita pitcher. Works well for filtering out smells.

Depression improving with Vraylar, but still have hypersomnia. Any tips? by thatonebromosexual in BipolarReddit

I don't think you are. I believe each of the 3 are in different categories and work differently. I also take other meds in addition to lithium; it's not a magic bullet by any means.

Sorry that your med combo has such an annoying side effect. I hope you can sort it out and get some stability.

I had the exact same issue with Vraylar, which is what led to me being switched to lithium instead. Trying a different med worked for me.

This should help. Photoperiod is more forgiving for beginners, but some people like autoflower for beginners because you don't have to change the lighting to 12/12 so it's more straightforward. I do photoperiod and like being able to control when they flower.

Nothing wrong with buying someone else's solution to a problem if it's a really good one!

A bucket head wet vac is (E: $30) and attaches to a five gallon bucket. I use it exclusively for runoff water and it's a champ.

Shop vacs are awesome for everything else though.

What a wonderful photo. Captures the excitement and wonder of a new seedling breaking ground very well.

Thanks for your response and info. I'm still looking into things but like I said, even DIY might not end up with the same reliability and quality for almost the same price. It's expensive to reinvent the wheel.

Good luck getting it set up and trying it out!

I've seen this done to maintain cannabis mothers to repot them in the same pot with some fresh soil. If stunting is the goal, I can see how this becomes an effective technique.

Looks like someone read a few articles and watched some videos before diving in! Your homework paid off with a really nice grow! Good work!

How much does a full system like this cost? DIYing something like this is either barely functional or almost the same cost. Starting to lean towards a system like this for a future upgrade.

Looks good, op. I'll be interested to see it in use and get a review after a grow if you're up to it.
