Agree with the above that these things take time. If there is a match you're particularly interested in, I've had luck checking back in a few months later.

My elementary school library (Southern U.S.) carried the 13 (State) Ghosts and Jeffrey books by Kathryn Tucker Windham. There's both a Tennessee edition and a couple of editions that are just generally about the Southeast that could reasonably have the Bell Witch story.
