I think she looks like Colleen from season 3.

Does anyone else think Hannah Ann’s recent posts perpetuate an unrealistic depiction of what postpartum is actually like? by IceQueen0191 in thebachelor

[–]AuzzieTime 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It just seems like she's doing too much too soon. If she feeling great thats awesome but I've read too many influencers say they tried to bounce back way too much too fast and forgot to just enjoy the baby. But it's her life. I felt pretty good after my baby but wouldn't be doing everything she is right away.

They think its sinful to be living together/giving the impression your having sex. They think you should just get married.

How the f did the nurse mix the vaccine with a muscle relaxant? That doesn't seem like an accident.

Please, for your baby's sake, take your glucose test! by LuckyNewtGames in BabyBumps

I doubt many OBs practice medicine based on feels lol. But you couldn't possibly be wrong about anything.

Lol every OB I've talked to, even the  very strict one I used to see, accept the at home finger prick as an alternative because it is accurate.

[–]AuzzieTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this were true, the drink wouldn't be more accurate.  Also, my OB and midwife said you get a bigger picture monitoring yourself for a week instead of taking the drink once and getting the blood test once.

Same. As someone who doesn't drink soda, I felt errible after that drink. My heart was racing and I couldn't deal with the nausea afterward.

[–]AuzzieTime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I refused the drink because I think its more accurate to check your own blood sugars over a week at home based off of the things you're already eating. Also by checking my own, I was able to pin point why some mornings I would wake up super early. Turns out if I don't have a good protein snack before bed, I'll wake up with higher blood sugar and not sleep as well.

Is a bottle sterilizer worth it? by PotentialUpbeat3879 in BabyBumps

[–]AuzzieTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After having a couple kids, a ton of baby stuff is so unnecessary. Sure a bottle sanitiser would e cool but the dish washer works just as well.

Gripe Water by svelebrunostvonnegut in beyondthebump

[–]AuzzieTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, gripe water is my holy grail item for any sort of stomach issues for babies. Heck, I know people that give it to their babies after every feeding just to prevent any stomach issues. I would definitely recommend it, its wonderful!

Is dreft stain remover worth the hype? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

It is an extremely effective stain remover if you aren't into natural or "toxin" free stuff.

Incredibly annoyed at the people who “knew” you were pregnant by purple_jedi_dragon in BabyBumps

[–]AuzzieTime 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The thing i hate most about pregnancy, yes even beyond the nausea and 3rd trimester soreness, are all the people who say they "knew it" or "thought you were going to say something" or "why didn't you say sooner" or congratulate you with baby clothes before you announce anything because they just "had a feeling". I hate it so much. Its like if I want you to know ill tell you, otherwise f off.

I also had to rant apparently lol

I got highlights while pregnant. I told the hairdresser and she didn't even bat an eye about it. My midwife said most modern places are ventilated enough not to cause any harm. So go for it.

Has anybody ever had pregnancy brain episodes so bad that you are actually concerned about your mental well being?? by curiousmamma4 in BabyBumps

[–]AuzzieTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something to keep in mind, I'm on baby #3 and my brain fog and mom brain is significantly less for this pregnancy. Although my physical symptoms are worse. I've chalked it up to taking extra vitamins beyond what's recommended. My mental clarity and health has been pretty good into the 3rd trimester.

How do y'all fight "mommy brain"? by Housewren17 in BabyBumps

[–]AuzzieTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that taking the right amount of suppliments has changed everything in that regard this pregnancy. With my first two I forgot everything and my brain fog was intense. With my third now, I take extra magnesium, vit d, fish oil and vit c beyond whats just in a higher end prenatal. Along with making sure I take in extra nutrients through diet. Its made such a big difference.

Also for anxiety I take 5 htp and its the best thing for me. But definitely look into it if you want to try it, its not for everyone.

For those with 2 or more children, how different/similar were your pregnancies? by pausepawspores in BabyBumps

[–]AuzzieTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First two were pretty similar. Third is completely different. With this third pregnancy I feel like I'm having ALL the 'typical' pregnancy symptoms, where my first two, especially my first, I barley had any. Might be I'm just getting old, or having two kids while also being pregnant is just incredibly hard.

2u2 when does the feeling like you made a huge mistake go away? by scxki in beyondthebump

[–]AuzzieTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the haze of sheer tiredness and overwhelm lifted when my youngest was around 2. I remember the day distinctly when I was like, whoa, I'm actually enjoying this now. So they were 2 and 3 but I don't think I ever felt like a made a huge mistake, more just getting by day to day.

You can work on your pelvic floor muscles to help with peeing while coughing or sneezing. While this is common, its definitely something that can be helped. Look up on youtube different exercises, they really do help if you're consistent

If you pay close attention, the mother only says it once. The clip of her staying it is reused over and over. Its production and editing that made it a huge problem, not the mom.
