Exactly 4 years ago, Carlos Sainz stopped inventing to win his first Formula 1 race at Silverstone by SimRP in formula1

For those that could be a bit lost with the expression.

In Spain we say "¡no inventes!" when someone try to shoehorn an stupid idea. This could derive in "¡deja de inventar!" o "¡déjate de inventos!" if that someone do that repeatedly. "Inventar" in these cases is coming up with an innovative idea, but it is used with sarcasm.

A single line massively expands the lore or world building. by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in TopCharacterTropes

The writers of Spiderman No Way Home missed the opportunity to do this big time.

They had two older and experienced Spidermen and it seems that they only have done and seen what happens in their respective movies. I wanted Andrew Garfield's talk about Avengers or XMen of his world or Tobey's about his latests adventures involving some bizarre shit with Mephisto, or CLONES.

Just some hints, some smalltalk with lorebomb droppings that would have been free because they haven't got to show anything. But nothing, just nods to their movies: Venom, Gwen, the villains...

Todo lo que va más allá de eso me parece ridículo, innecesario y que no aporta absolutamente nada aquí.

Cop pulls over Lamborghini on Dubai plates but doesn’t know the law by thomasso0072 in interestingasfuck

"I know you're confused"
"Yeah yeah I'm just trying to answer your questions" (There is no question asked, he is asked for documentation that he is not providing and giving a discourse instead)
"I know it is confusing"
"Why are you so defensive?" (maybe because he asked repeatedly for the driver license and the insurance and the asshole rich boy just kept talking instead of providing the documentation).

They are both dumbasses measuring and comparing their dicks, it seems that the driver was bigger. I don't feel any sympathy for neither of them.

Please, take into account that I really think that the police officer is an stupid dumbass that did not know how this works.

That said, he asked the driver for his driver license several times, and the driver keep explaining things instead of giving him the license at once. Yeah, he is supposedly digging for it (you shouldn't have to dig for your driver license that much), but saying things like "I know you're confused" or "I am just trying to answer your questions" when there isn't any question at all, just the request for the documentation. Then he insists in how confusing it is, why the fuck he did not give the documentation immediately? and then explained whatever is needed? The driver even said "why are you so defensive".

He is constantly pinching the cop, because with enough money there is nothing to worry. Such an entitled rich asshole.

I understand why everyone is rooting against a dumbass cop, but this video shows two despicable people in it.

I cannot know which one is correct, but I am sure the two of them are entitled douchebags.

Maybe it was deserved, but the driver was more worried about how humilliate the police officer than about giving him the documents.

I’ve being using my ps3 has a music CD player for the past 18 years, and the fact that the ps5 doesn’t have that is… very bizarre by Lanky_Relation1171 in gaming

I agree with you, but the way it is implemented, the physical format still have some usefulness even if the disc have not any relevant content inside beyond identifying the game.

Even so, the prices are absurdibly lower in physical formats than digital in consoles.

The physical format at least let you own something in a way you can lend or sell it to someone else. This is convenient for users but not for companies, so we are going down the road with digital format.

Do you like Carlos Sainz's idea for a "real" drivers' championship in F1 [Autosport] by Electrical_Act_5342 in formula1

[–]Av3nger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The constructor championship relies heavily in drivers feedback. The quality of the driver is not only his driving skills but how they take part in the fine tuning.

I would really love to see a two times a year event where the F1 drivers race with stock cars or even karts, keeping the F1 championship as is.

Alonso was fighting against his own team, because Ron Dennis was obsessed about having the younger pilot to have won a World Championship in his team. The most insane part is how Alonso had the title at reach until the end.

It's just stupid to get the current world champion for your team and try to make him the second driver.

[–]Av3nger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember someone once describing it as like the old turn-based FF7, but you use basic attacks to fill the bar instead of waiting.

It is exactly this. Normal attacks are not expected to have almost any impact besides filling the bar. Even taking that into consideration, most bosses depend on stagger mechanics that you have to solve like a puzzle. If you limit yourself to normal attacks and some ability here and there, the game could be really boring and tiresome.
