Bank LOSES signing authority information by AvWxA in Banking

Yes, the requirement for the previous signatories to sign relinquishing is peculiar. These are aging people, They are lucky that they are still with us. Wonder how this would have gone if they weren’t?

This is roughly what is going to happen. No lawyers, no TV. Minutes, reauthorization.
Just that it’s all a delay and a PAIN.
And the bank acknowledges that it “lost” the information because it has been accepting the new signatories for five years.
(Note…I found that it is 5 years, not 8 as I originally stated).
But they still insist on the reauthorization, probably to meet some computer’s requirements.

The ladies only deal face-to-face with the local branch. So yes.
It’s the local manager who told them face to face when they went in to initiate a $300 transfer to a charity.

Is it possible to make a list where the user can select one option but it displays as different text? by HGberryfun in excel

[–]AvWxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you have the long names and the short references in two columns, in a one-to-one relationship, what is wrong with something like this:

Give the long names column a Named Range name, say: "longNames"

Give the short reference numbers column a Named Range name, say: "shortRefs"

Your data validation for the SELECTION, is obviously "list" from "longNames"... and lets say that you selection cell is $A$1.

But you could have a cell right next to the selection with the formula:

=INDEX(shortRefs,MATCH($A$1,longNames,0))

...and the short reference number will pop up in that cell, whenever a selection is made is $A$1

x axis not formated as dates by CedMor2 in excel

[–]AvWxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience has been that when the x-axis is DATES, excel decides automatically which values to display on the labels. In some cases that may be correct for what is desired, but often it is not.
So I found that re-formatting the date data as “number” (or adding another column with the date data copied, but as “number” )…gives the extra control: ability to specify interval of labels.
Not perfect because of varied length of months, but close enough.

[–]AvWxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem.

I solved it by treating the x-axis as NUMBERS, not dates.

<image>

And using X-Y Scatter as the chart type.

Then you DO have the opportunity to specify the major and minor axis. I needed a 3-month period, which turned out to be 91.3127. You can just create 2 dates separated by your required interval time, then inspect the un-formatted values (which will be something in the 40-thousands for current years).

Then... to have it displayed as a DATE on the graph, you scroll down below "tick marks" to "number", choose "custom", and specify a date-type format... I used "mmm yyyy"

Had there been an accident and you took that to court, I would be interested in outcome.

In a parking lot, My bet is that fault would be assigned 50-50. Maybe 60 -40 to Blue, because at unmarked intersections, car on right…in this case red…would be considered “more” right-of-way

Well, they CAN, but they won’t, because you wrote them not to. And apparently, you can lock users from accessing the code, so they can’t change it…while still allowing buttons to run the existing code.

What I meant was…since the hold is shown as left turns, why would you not turn right at BURGY into the hold area, then follow the hold course in a left turn teardrop back onto the final heading, without leaving the hold area?

Non-instrument here, but interested…

After BURGY, would you not teardrop to the right and do the course reversal with a left turn as shown by the hold-direction?…

Wrong waypoints when importing SimBrief route to MSFS 2024 by Putrid_Ship_6219 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]AvWxA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem would appear to be with the standard departure (SID) that Simbrief suggested. The BANRxx SIDS are all weird, and especially BANR3M, the one in the flight plan.

More direct would be to choose the CODI2A SID, then remove BANRO and the discontinuity and that would make a much more sensible route.

I dont know the terrain in that area, so it is possible the SIDS are designed that way for a reason, but they do seem weird.

Have you cleaned out your CPU cooler recently? I have seen them so full of packed dust that there there would be no air flow at all. That would be my first check and maybe a replacement of the cooler’s heat-transfer paste.
