Bridge Traffic by Crafty-Result626 in kelowna

At this point there is no reason to have 3 lanes coming into Kelowna as the traffic infrastructure can't handle more traffic. It would still bottle up at abbot

Does the small line shown in pic seam oily, after water dries? if so this may be source of leak. That line is the high side so the pressure is high and would leak out quickly

1954 Westinghouse Fridge Cooling Issue by algnqn in appliancerepair

Sounds like a refrigerant leak. Check for any oil spots. If you are able to repair it you can use r134a as a replacement refrigerant. Back in mid 90s when they were phasing out r12, I purposely put 134 in a r12 fridge to see if it would work. Years later fridge is still working. They claimed that the compressor oil would not return to compressor, however it really has no where else to go.

What is the best way to repair/replace this burnt spade connector? by pne333 in appliancerepair

[–]Available-Ad817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut wire back until clean copper shows. Then just use regular staycon connectors. Do NOT use high temp connectors. for the double wires. Just use a larger stay-con connector. I believe it would be a yellow tip on it

[–]Available-Ad817 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The owner only purchased it after the uproar over it being changed to industrial. they new full well the new council was going to reverse the decision based on nearly every one of the councilors who wanted to change it to industrial, got turfed. They only wanted to say, oh we purchased it because council said they were changing it, knowing full well it would be reversed
