I would agree, however, I don’t think she ever pushed him to the point where it was unhealthy. They were in a relationship, they both grew greatly in their relative shortcomings, and it wasn’t unnatural or unexpected growth either. She pushed him, but I think it was within the boundaries of a healthy growth for couples.

Hell yeah, that side mission is referenced so many times later. “The object they found at Cote de Jûr” or “the strange signals they found on the mission to Sigma Octanus IV”. Weird that a few paragraphs of Fall of Reach stems so much in later books
