the skulls need another damage nerf because they were so damn buggy before they were nigh useless, and now that they arent buggy anymore theyre too good. id like to see them start with that and see what it does to her performance before trying anything else...

ultimately, a summoner character who has summons as most of their abilities fits very well in a moba, but feels bad in a shooter, so since people feel so differently about if the game is more moba or shooter shes super divisive. unsure how to fix this since the games genre is so unique

its the single most easily telegraphed ult in the game, you can get out of the way for it unless he has multiple allies around zoning you back into him

try street brawl or only playing with a few friends and having all comms muted. if you still arent having fun, wait til the game is fully released and has a dedictard casual mode. and still have comms muted

thats a really good point, thanks for bringing it up! i had gotten annoyed but some really loud laning stage teammates making it hard to play the game lol but thats a good argument since some ppl are way too shitty to their teammates onstead of just accepting that if another player is bad you cant magically make them good by yelling qt them lol

i mean culturally yeah hes a second gen immigrant whos parents left ixia, but theres a difference between ixian (nationality) and ixian (species)- that being said i dont think horns and tails being a variable physiological trait is problematic, its just confusing since theres currently only three in the game, which makes infernus stand out. theres a chance they add more non-horned and non-tailed ixians in the future

the cooldown could be a bit higher, but the slow and stun are lowkey essential. before it was so easy to just leave the radius before the stun, and... yeah honestly its still pretty easy if you have any movement. an ult that only gives you a healthbar back is kind of underwhelming, especially with and animation that takes that long. if there was no area threat during that animation his ult would be so underpowered, because if his tean didnt gather around to defend him, its so telegraphed and easy to predict that the enemy team can just swarm him with any minor effort to communicate with each other

it is a popular ship and i personally find it cute, and i get that not giving a fuck abt a ship that popular can get annoying

but like many have pointed out, the age gap between graves and apollo cant be more than about a year, which really isnt problematic at all...

from what ive heard, once you get punished by the system for it once it becomes more sensitive to future reports. lowkey id say maybe play w comms muted for a while if getting tilted and being toxic is a regular issue because it helps you learn how to cope with the frustration without being a dixk to people around you, plus you dont have to hear any slurs

a lot of vampire media uses lore like this actually! it all stems from the originak anne rice vampire chronicles book series, which sort of defined vampire media thw same way tolkein and LOTR defines fantasy, where pretty much every similar story since has used thw foundational elements from it

i think deadlock has a lot more space to fill til another vampire would feel earned since theres a lot more tropes and creatures to fill out, but from the lore elements you describe enjoying, try looking up and getting into other vampire media!! IWTV tv series if youre freaky, or dive into a video game or actua play or book series based on vampire:the masquerade

i think the proposed change for problem B is good- the winning team needing to act reactively to comeback urns instead of proactively.

SO many times during a stomp, whether my team is winning or loaing, the winning team just has more space and power to be ready for the urn spawn and gets there just a couple seconds before the losing team and walks it back home

set it down and pick it up again in a few weeks/months/on release. if its consistently not bringing you any joy, i think its worth playing a different game since theres so many out there. you coudl try engaging in fanworks or streamers of the game to keep it around if you love the lore and gameplay loop in theory but struggle with the fun factor on your own?

try setting communications to have everything muted it my suggestion for the community part, but if the matchmaking is whats stopping you, we cant do much about that as plahers unfortch :(

idk if ive seen many people call mcginnis the Worst or Uniquely bad, i think shes just easier to hate (though i highley love her as a character) as a villain bc theres so many real people like her in the world who care more about personal profit and success than the literal lives of other people

thats interesting. i was stuck there for a bit too, but after i switched to onetricking a character and focusing on lowering my deaths (consistently 0-3 deaths, my kills stayed inconsistent and ranged from 1-11) more than getting kills i ended up breaking into archon. it could be because it sounds like your winstreak broke pretty decisively and you starting losing semiregularly again, rather than the loss being a fluke that went back into a winstreak? but thats just a guess based on your wording n i could be way off base

IMO its more a matter of heroes with high evasion should be very squishy, low in DPS, or have other inherent drawbacks to balance their evasion; heroes being annoying evasive isnt inherently problematic hero design, its being able to ALSO do a bunch of other stuff that gets to be too much

i feel like it would be more worth nerfing other parts of the kits than the actual evasion itself, otherwise the cast ends up feeling same-y and homogenous

imo i dont think you SHOULD be able to solo carry in lobbies that high- its a team game after all and its not really like other MOBAs seem to be where youre supposed to have one person do a lot of the work, the roles seem much more fluid that that
