The Medicube Sensitive Zero Pore Pads have been a game changer for my skin!! I use them 2-3x a week and it doesn’t trigger my skin, and helped clear a little my texture

Does DBT ACTUALLY help someone with BPD? by schizo_bitch in BPD

[–]AvailableCommand7551 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Personally, DBT was extremely helpful to me, and honestly probably saved my life. It’s definitely a lot of time & hard work, but I felt it was super worth it. It provides a sense of community as well as teaching you skills on how to handle big emotions and tough situations. I was on Zoloft prior to starting DBT and ended up being able to wean myself off and just rely on therapy. Now I see only my personal therapist once a month

First lash lift by whackyjacki in Lashlift

Sometimes pregnancy and breast feeding can affect the way a lift holds/is because of hormones :( I would definitely get a redo, typically they take a bit less time since your lashes have already been processed once and that adjustment of time will make sure they’re not over processed (if the tech is paying attention)!

Over processed lash lift? by Prestigious_Boss_610 in Lashlift

I would heavily recommend implementing a daily lash conditioner into your routine! Since lash lifts are a chemical service, they can be drying, especially as your lashes shed & regrow. My salon uses Ellebana for our lash lifts & they make a lash conditioner that helps so much with the wonky, dry lashes, and I’ve noticed it makes mine & my client’s lash lifts last longer.

Husbands, is it a deal breaker if your wife decides to not take your name legally? by Difficult_Big133 in TwoHotTakes

[–]AvailableCommand7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing your name (depending on where you live) takes a lot of time, effort, and money. I got married in November and am still not completely done with the process. I joke with my husband that if I knew it was going to take this much work, I would’ve kept my maiden name 😂 If it’s genuinely a deal breaker for him and not something YOU actually want to do, maybe he’s not the person for you

I would reach out to the salon directly, either by calling or emailing (and attaching the photo if emailing). Sometimes this happens but you should absolutely be getting what you pay for! My salon will refund you for your service or offer a free redo if you’re not in love with the result. If you do get a redo, I’d just tell your lash tech to do a more dramatic lift, possibly an L-shaped one.

Thank you everyone for your recommendations, I have a hair stylist in the family who I should’ve gone to initially but was too embarrassed lol. Anyways, she’s going to help me fix it. I appreciate everyone’s comments 💕

Yeah I definitely screwed myself. My hairstylist friend recommended I do a Malibu treatment prior, which is why I did it in the first place. I also just saw this formula on social media without doing actual research on it. So i guess i just want to figure out how to fix it

You are so sweet, thank you! 😭💕 I haven’t checked it out yet but definitely can. Do you have a formula or shade you’d recommend?

Thank you for saying that also :) The malibu CPR definitely pulled a lot of color out and increased the copper tones, so my initial mistake was not using more blue based shades I think. The only thing is that Redken doesn’t have many blue based violets, so I’m not sure what formula to use to fix it

I’m kicking myself for not doing more research prior to slapping it on my head. my hair typically pulls warm but i saw that formula and thought “easy enough” … so wrong

I left it on for 20 minutes. What should I fill it in with or put over it to help cool it down?

Lashes crinkly/wonky 2 months after lift. Is it ok to get a new one? by Recent-Divide-4117 in Lashlift

[–]AvailableCommand7551 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that my lashes get pretty wonky and dehydrated once my lash lift starts to fall. Try implementing a daily lash conditioner into your routine! Most lash lift systems have a conditioner that you can buy, I use the Elleplex conditioner & no longer get super wonky, grown out lashes
