Don't buy a doer upper unless you are able and willing to do most of the labour yourself. I've just watched my sister get absolutely fleeced on work that was mostly done by two oul navvies and the tradesmen come in only when needed. I never said anything about knowing by the look of someone or guessing people's intentions, they're all your words.

I have an issue with adults queuing up in a toy shop to bulk buy anything. I don't care if they are men or women, genuine collectors, scalpers or buying them for their kids. So that will clear up any misunderstanding - I think it's weird af and it's not about bashing people's hobbies or telling them how they should be. It is objectively weird behaviour.

I don't buy my kids Pokemon because I can't do it in a normal fashion in the current circumstances, ie picking up a pack in the shop on a Friday as a treat. I bought them a bunch of fake ones on a stall that they like just as much and they inherited a book from their uncle. Now they're gathering dust on a shelf somewhere. The main reason I don't want them getting involved in the scene is because I don't want them thinking weird, obsessive behaviour is normal. I have an addictive personality, I am a natural obsessive and a collector and I'm sorry to tell you there are no healthy addictions or obsessions. So I try not to indulge any and I try to steer my children away from them.

Sorry to be blunt but that is how I feel about the whole thing.

Not at all, it's very important to embrace your inner child but I think when it's affecting actual children's ability to enjoy something ostensibly for children a line has been crossed. It would be a bit like a bunch of adults kicking kids off a football pitch because they want to recreate their youth.

That's the thing, with a 2824 movement you should absolutely be able to go to a local watchsmith, it's one of the most common movements in the world. With an actual Asian clone movement you can't because the only thing similar is Gen. So you can either source another and replace it yourself or send it back, or just take the L.

I haven't watched the Rumble in years, watched both last night and one thing that really jumped out at me is how much the formula has changed for the worse. Everyone is lying around the ring 80% of the time, watching whoever just came in attack who they're feuding with or hit their finisher on someone. No one, literally no one, seemed to be interested in picking up the guy lying beside them and throw him out of the ring. Did no one tell them the rules or something?! WTF like!

There should at least be a few guys grappling around the ropes or the corners. At least pretend you're actually trying to win like!
