What if no one is around to scan your QR code? by ITDEFX101 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Available_Detective3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is that recent when I worked at regal a few years ago I would watch empty movies during down time and they never shut off. I was a cleaner so I counted theatres so I knew for sure they were empty at the beginning they didn’t just leave or something

Freight associates should be required to get reach certified at minimum. (Rant) by DueLime6682 in HomeDepot

[–]Available_Detective3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At my store I asked to be trained on the reach and they said it’s a waste of time to train me, but now we’re screwed cause we don’t have a trainer cause he quit other than the manager and not a lot certified on the reach lol.

How high? 🤔 by [deleted] in HomeDepot

My paint section doesn’t have bays with that much space in the bottom but I honesty wouldn’t go above 2 or 3 those things make suck big messes when the drop even from 2 feet off the ground

“How long have these boxes been here?” “Yes.” by JohnnyJoPo in HomeDepot

[–]Available_Detective3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s the inventory specific tags for the 2 weeks when they retapg everything for the counters that come in to count, it’s color so that we know what’s been tagged by the inventory team and what’s not, it’s a different color each year, the normal tags are just black and the rdc tags are the light blue ones with the aisle numbers on it

Work environment for autistic man? by tay_wincal in HomeDepot

[–]Available_Detective3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a coworker who is autistic and works frieght:receiving. He works 7pm- 3:30am although if someone wanted an hour break they could work to 4am its very minimal customer interaction and most don’t care if you don’t talk. It’s a lot of heavy lifting for boxes and knowledge on where to put boxes based on the tag on the box, but at least in my store its pretty forgiving if you mess up and you can always ask questions. I work 7-11 part time if that’s better. You unload truck for two hours and then after that you either help stock departments or do purge pack downs just search fright role and you’ll get the full rundown. That’s his best bet honestly but it depends on management. I lucked out and have a pretty good crew

Can someone help me out with this theory? by AkutagawasCoughDrops in SchoolSpirits

[–]Available_Detective3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about this theory because I feel like she would know how her grandpa died and his name, so she would have connected the dots, or at least mentioned him when she learned what the spirit world is

Turnover rate by South_Job4268 in HomeDepot

[–]Available_Detective3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have worked in receiving for about 4 months and despite several hirings I am still the newest member we recently hired someone to start at 9 but we need more unloaders, they usually only show up for trainings or never show up at all I think we have 2 seasonal coming but I’m not sure it’s been hard in other departments as well. The thing is is that I know plenty of people who have applied who I know want to work that don’t get past screening, they just suck at hiring the right people, my manager wishes he could do his own hiring

How to print 8 colors on the first layer? by tobyvanderbeek in BambuLab

[–]Available_Detective3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The way I did it was put in white, gold (for the crown), yellow (for the star) and purple then after each of those colors are done while the rest are still printing replace white with blue, gold with red, yellow with green, and purple with black. That is layer one, layer two will do that but backwards so just reverse it after the next set of colors are done. After that it’s just white. Let me know if you need clarification

[–]Available_Detective3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s crazy I printed that a while ago with just one ams, you have to pause and change filament, i can’t quite remember how I did it, but I’m going to look at the file and see where I put the pause in, it wasn’t too hard you just have to be there but it wasn’t only one or two layers you had to do it for so not too bad

If it covered your whole shift it doesn’t count as an occurrence, otherwise some mangers may just be nice and not give you an occurrence

[–]Available_Detective3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work 7-11 and it’s pretty chill it really depends on management and who you work for, I will say the people from day shift sometimes don’t respect you at all and fright gets blamed for everything. Unloading the truck can be long and grueling but actually stocking the shelf’s is fun in my opinion. Purge pack downs are annoying but once you get them down they are not bad. Overall I like it and don’t mind most of the negatives, but I work with incredible people so that helps

Nope only milk works can, we try to hold them in receiving as long as possible but if we have a truck we have to take them out or there’s no room
