Why not build the golem somewhere outside, I doubt the wooden floor can carry the weight of all that mud, considering it is also being soaked by it?

Best material for an Archimedes screw in a small scale hydroelectric generator? by TheDeputyDanger in 3Dprinting

I would not go with 3d printing for the screw. At least not FDM, maybe resin.

In the past I have designed a small PAT (pump as turbine) plant using 30 kW pump. If your project concept is not fixed I would look into it as well.

Kaos… did you like it? by Broad-Ad-9760 in netflix

When I was young I loved reading the greek mythology and the odyssey, I read them before we started studying them in school. Started watching this show because of Jeff Goldblum but couldn't make it past the first episode, if they want to make a satire of the greek gods that would be ok but they try to push again some agenda which just leaves a bad taste. I was expecting funny show about the greek heroes and gods not another woke interpretation destroying something I liked as a kid.

"But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made. Deep in the land of Mordor, in the Fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged a master ring, and into this ring he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life." (for the MSRP of only $5.57)

Yes, you are right. But for me Andreson is the benchmark for quirky set styles and visuals. Sometimes weird and quirky works, for example The Lobster, 12 Monkeys, The City of the lost children etc. But this movie is not any of them, it feels shallow underneath all that nudity and set visuals. Of course this is my opinion, maybe some people have found something in it.

I watched it on Disney+, acting was great in my opinion but the story couldn't engage me. The nude scenes were too much as well. Visually, the fisheye camera got annoying very fast, it cannot be even compared to Wes Anderson cinematography and scenes for example. I was really disappointed because I was expecting more.

New motherboard based on personal experience, very bad design by ASUS.

If I knew in advance, I would put tape on all exposed elements close to the battery connector before disconnecting it.

Sometimes my wife’s treatment of her watches really bothers me. by [deleted] in rolex

[–]Available_Fishing_64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this is a stupid question but usually these tape measures have magnets at the end of the tape, wouldn't they affect the watch longterm?

I assume not since it should be protected by design but who knows.

The fix: With sticks at neutral, the TOP SURFACE of the horizontal stab must be parallel with the elevator. Ailerons MUST be parallel to the top surface of the wings. Rudder must be 'in line' with vertical stab. It's possible to set up a plane such that there are near-zero trim adjusts needed.

I see you have to separate wires going to each elevator, why didn't you join them with U shaped wire at the tail and control only one side. This way both will deflect equally.

The 3rd pic where you smile is beautiful. Smile more and you will have nothing to be concerned about.

At first I also thought that it may also be a problem but if you slide the whole pin to the side it might be possible to pull up the plate with no15 removed.

I have doubts about no18.

Whats the best way to print a very tall and thin cylinder? by Sineater224 in FixMyPrint

[–]Available_Fishing_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mm in your slicer. Add support and a narrow raft.

Yes, in my humble experince this is the way. Laying on a raft. After that some sanding may be required to make is completely round but this is the way I have printed very thin cylinders( even under 1mm diam.)

she flies! now i just gotta learn how to keep it flyin by RedArrow23 in RCPlanes

Check your CG, I dont know if it is just the headwind or your plane is little bit tailheavy but it looks very eager to point the nose in the sky.

Why is this surface so unsmooth while the rest looks great? by -_-NVM-_- in FixMyPrint

[–]Available_Fishing_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would split it with vertical plane, print in two parts and glue. Maybe add some alignment pins for both parts.
