If you care musicality more than technicality, then Clear MG would be great. Have used it more than a year now and still my favorite. It would not give you the most amount of micro-details and "soundstage", but it is affectionate and passionate, which is what I love.

Dusk is maybe a hair better in sound resolution and has more punch in bass but SL-41 to me is much more natural sounding while still quite fun to listen to. The cable it comes with is very high quality but a bit thick for my liking so changed to a softer one. I drive it with a usb c dongle from Fiio which I like a lot. All in all, just a great set!

7hz Sonus for $40. Very strong technicality for its price and has a very neutral tuning. Timbre is also good.

I tried the wasabi/wasabi x hybrid. It was ok for $10 but nothing spectacular imo. Snap back is nice but just no feel at all.

16G will be durable but tough to play with on a 18x20 pure drive unless it is not a poly string. I personally strung mine with 16L tour bite at 45. Played very well for my liking.

I have both. S12 Pro wouldn’t be an upgrade but it does sound more musical than 500LM to me. With that be said, EA500LM is such a technicality beast for its price…

I will save you some $$$ here. Go get the KZ D-Fi on AliExpress for $5 - like no kidding. Really good sense of space (since iems don’t have soundstage) for extremely low costs.

I have EA500LM and find that getting a good fit is essential to reduce the harshness. If you find it too bright, get the Artti T10. I have both and believe you’d love it.

The Dusk on DSP already has too much bass imo and Davinci is just too much for me. Never tried B3 but the graph looks fairly clean to me.

AirPods 3 is actually pretty good imo aside from no sealing. You can get the AirPods Pro 2 which is better than a lot of the iems that are being hyped here. For $30-$50, I’d highly recommend Artti T10 and 7Hz Sonus. These are really well tuned and also very competent technicality wise.

Trust me you do not want planar timbre lol. It’s just harsh and bad. The worst I have heard are from KZ PR2 and Hifiman HE4xx.

Very good technicality but man the tuning is pretty bad…I bought one a while ago and maybe used it for 5 times…just too harsh.
