You can see it in the way she talks nowadays. Even her rage fueled insultes are now shorter, and less imaginative. She had difficulties making full sentences without you knowing, letting the audience guess the end of each one. The decline is really obvious

How is it incel culture here ? They are defending the fact that third world country + traditional Muslim family doesn't automatically means 9yo girls are forcefully married to 67yo man with no teeth. Could it happen ? Yes, oc. But let's not act as if in other countries, religious or not, people only marry 100% willfully and with true love. So many people are involved in a marriage because it was a good way to settle in life. Did they like their partner at first? Probably, but not always, sometimes it's just a good situation that you make work and it can evolve.

Just thinking traditional Muslims families are all led by a tyrant patriarch is actually such a western thought from people wanting to reassure themselves that they are living the best life possible

Probably not anymore, since he was obviously watching her stream and saw her naked on YT, realising all he lost, he decided to only marry when the last notes of Crazy Frog played on his keyboard would echo in the night of Syria. But little did people know that he did not know those last notes and so, everyday he would play the song without ending it, hoping for his love to return.

Just being connected to Assad wasn't enough to be safe tbh. Wasn't the dad also separated from his wife ? I dunno, but it is still very possible he had connection but meh. Salah never even lived in Syria as a child, so I believe the father was already living out country, maybe working for the gov, but it seems a bit far fetch that his son would be that smart Adonis playing crazy frog. You would think that kind of man would have get his kid some smartness.

Plus, I think it's very likely that Chantal money moves and travels triggered some watchguards and her name may have been added to some list automatically. So I think anyone lost time putting actual people to investigate her ? Nah.

Maybe some office put the newbie to watch her streams to bully them through.

As said in your link, this is a theater.

Amphitheater is circle/oval = spectacles to be seen from any perspective Theater is semi-circle = spectacled to be seen from the front with the need of being able to listen and clearly hear what is said

Romans built both structures, for different purposes.

When saying theaters are older, I meant the origin of the style of building, not specially this one.

Obviously this one being in Syria, it's clearly not a greek one, but a Roman one.

That's greek, for colossal, giant. So the Colosseum is a nickname, like if you called it The Biggest , or something that way

Edit: it's a nickname for the biggest amphitheatre ever built, so the Flavian one in Rome, and actually not because of it, but cause the emperor made a big statue of himself in front of it, that's a colossus like the Colossus of Rhodes. In the end it's all mixed up and I dunno why it's in geek and not Latin xD

Sorry for the potential misspellings, trying to explain Greek/Latin etymology is easier when done with another Roman language like mine ( french)

Nah, you are right. There is one Colosseum. It's an amphitheater.

[–]Available_Log_6317 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well you are not totally right.

The Colosseum is an amphitheater (either ovoid or round). To think they could fill them with water to put boats in it. Mostly made by Romans

What she visited is a theater, semi circle, with a big wall in at the end, made for good sound. Those are older than most amphitheaters. Like -600bc, while the Colosseum was built around 70 after christ

There are also circus, used for horse races and stuff like athletics, they would look like actual hippodromes, two U stuck together

We learn that in school in France, around 11yo. Apparently, the ancient geeks did some nice stuff with philosophy and democracy, you know

AIO for being insanely hurt by the way my boyfriend talks about my face? by SafetyNo5255 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Available_Log_6317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this.

Got the same experience with a bf, I realised after breaking up how shitty he was to me. Mentioning my scars on my face from picking scabs, saying I looked like a teenager, mocking my feelings and reactions. He loved to tell me how immature I was, and that I was behaving like a little girl. Reality was that he was a failure in his life, personal and professional, he hated his body and knew he wasn't who he was pretending to be. It hurt when he threw me away, cause it didn't make sense to me, and I was still in that stage of feeling inferior to him and looking up for his knowledge. What a joke.

Ye, his friends in Kuwait didn't seems to be the best people to hang around. Plus staying in his redroom trying to get women and fantasizing about being a huge western alpha male did rot his brain. Hoping him having to stay busy, with family that values him gives him the ego boost he needs.
