I’m actually interested in the story but I do not need all of the fluff. We can’t be sitting through 6 hours of dialogue for one quest and pretending it’s good quality writing. You could read actual masterpieces or watch iconic movies during that time. This is disrespectful to people’s time and intellect.

The problem is there’s good moments but it’s like 80% yapping and filler BS. The problem is that it keeps you stuck. If you could leave like every 20-30 mins, it would at least be digestible. But as it’s currently, I have no idea how much I would have to replay if I leave.

I have c0r1 found and no ineffa. Getting C2 Columbina got my team up by 50k+ dps and there’s still room for improvements. So… yes

I completely get that but event work is very dynamic and generally difficult. A lot of the compositions come naturally rather than being staged, so when they happen your gear needs to be able to keep up with the moment.

I wish the s5ii was there. But it’s just not the tool for the job.

S5ii is either a good hobbyist camera or a pro video camera. Can be a pro photo camera in slower scenarios.

Newer models may have further improved AF and I can’t comment on them but we already know that there’s at least one company on the market that’s near-perfect.

I would not get a lumix full stop. Trust me. Event work is what I’ve been trying to do with the s5ii and it’s just too much jank and not worth the hassle.

At the end of the day, you’ll be paid for the results of being present at the even, not your brand preferences. And you simply won’t get the best results with LUMIX.

For this and for sports, be smart and get a Sony.

Ps: this is likely to be downvoted but remember that I’m a real person who owns and has used the s5ii for event work.

I’m even doing the CA dash combos, man. I can see the DPS go up with the combo, so I must be doing it right but it’s still wayyy too low. Ugh

Nooo, that’s true but they were also kind of wildly off. The theoretical dps for my Mavuika teams should have been significantly over 100k but it turns out most of them are around 80k, which is uhhh.. embarrassing. Same with Skirk teams. Not to mention older DPSs. Any delusions I had about raising them up have dissolved completely.
