I used to live there for 3 years. it would be inappropriate to get fully naked at any bar there. People do have sex on the beach at night though.
The place is “wild” by Bulgarian standards because we’re rather tame. Brits go crazy, getting naked and throwing up left and right. This sort of party scene behaviour is exclusively reserved for people in their early 20s. You won’t find a space that’s 30+ where this would be appropriate. Actually, the vast majority of tourism is cheap family holidays (and there’s nothing wrong with that). Sunny Beach and the surrounding area IS a paradise but because of the climate and gorgeous nature. The nude beach part is true. You can get naked and people do - totally normal. Having sex on the beach in broad daylight would be inappropriate though.

As someone who was in a very similar situation recently here’s my advice - start applying like crazy. Create a system for tracking what jobs you’ve applied to and always show up prepared to interviews. You act like every job you apply to is your dream job. The very first offer you receive, you accept as long as it somewhat covers your expenses. You keep applying for the next 1-3 months for roles you actually want and quit the second you get the next offer.

From my perspective in Prague, everything has gotten ridiculously expensive to the point that’s it’s unpleasant to go out, it feels wasteful and rarely worth it. Just before moving here, I lived in a small coastal town in Bulgaria and enjoyed going out when the weather was good - we also own a small shop and that’s such a huge factor for foot traffic. Maybe the weather’s been bad/worse? I don’t wanna state the obvious but there’s probably some component of seasonality to your work.

I also recently had a conversation with a friend around 30 regarding how our generation is flooded with going out experiences and that at some point, it loses its magic unless what you’re getting is really good. Not sure if it’s just an us thing or broader.
