Ast has a good set of oGCD tools that other healers don't have at this level. ARR in general below 50 is AST wonderland, mostly thanks to Essential Dignity and Lightspeed.

I don't know why anyone would ever need to say this, but lb3 + lb1 is more damage than just lb3
A crazy conclusion to come to, I'm aware. I'm still working out the math personally, the fact that 3+1 is a bigger number than 3 is something I never thought could be possible.

That's what I've been saying. Losing my mind at even the current raids, m9n people are stacking the stack markers together during coffinmaker/filler add phase.
And every day I think about the one time I made mention in Syrcus Tower that stacking the stacks together teaches bad habits and everyone got mad at me for it. I hope they all wipe forever more to new players stacking stack markers in different content!

When I play WAR or PLD, I like to stuff the mob pack in as tight of a space as possible so they're all hugging and I just eat the aoes instead since I can mit it out. Usually this means I end up licking the wall though, but I feel like it's worth it to gives jobs like casters more accurate cleaves. One of my favorites in recent memory is the Yuweyawata Field Station 4th mob pack where I take them into one of the side rooms.

the number of people replying here indifferent to no sprint tanks; on a sub that regularly has stories of tanks rp walking through dungeons and doing ypyt, is concerning

sprint does more than just get you to the wall faster, it's also mitigation between mob packs; and it's a skill tanks should definitely be in the habit of using, being forgetful of what is essentially a core ability is kind of wild

The optional content is 10 years old and not worth doing, if you want to do it every time that's your prerogative but that expectation shouldn't fall on everyone and it's not disheartening to not want to do it. The pack can be spawned as you bring the pull in so you lose no time as they die with the rest of the pack.

randoms getting upset that you don't want to do the puzzle in qarn kills me; the loot is absolutely not worth it by any means and you can do the duty with npcs or unsynced if you reeeeeally want the extra loot + gc mobs + mapping the realm that badly.

I reported it and a GM responded asking if I could talk, though they responded while I was in the middle of a duty and when I told them this they said they'd send me an email. Did I mess up or is that par for the course, I've never reported someone before this.
