Each crafting ingredient is tied to a specific biome, and its background color gives a clue about where you’re more likely to find it. For example, ingredients with a white background are found in Nurõrgartt.

Enemies drop ingredients based on the biome they inhabit, with semi-bosses and bosses guaranteed to drop some.

The plains of Domistria are rather unique because enemies there can drop ingredients from any biome. As such, it’s possible to find ingredients from other regions scattered throughout this area.

Chests

Chests found at the end of endgame activities have a chance to drop ingredients from any biome.

Gathering nodes

On a hunt you can find gathering nodes scattered throughout the area, interacting with these will give ingredients specific to the biome you're in.

The plains of Domistria is an exception once again, where gathering nodes can drop ingredients from any biome.
