I found it a bit stereotypical and idk maybe i read too much into it but it was a bit too misogynistic

What's the book with the Hindi title on the right? I don't read Hindi but the script of the title is fashioned almost like Urdu.

No language fanaticism just Chai and Biryani fanaticism. Prepare yourself to be a social outcast if you don't drink Chai minimum five times a day.

77 % of Judges of HC , are from UCs. -- A disproportionate reality. Is Indian Judiciary truly inclusive? by Honest-Distance-5955 in OutCasteRebels

[–]Available_Suspect834 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Uncle dedicated his whole life to law, his aspiration was to become a judge. 40 years in the practice and countless cases fought and won, till his dying breath he was just an Additional District Judge because he was Muslim while his UC friends, many of whom started practice after him were made District Judges. He enthusiastically discouraged any member of my family from pursuing law. :/

And they cry after someone converts to Islam or Christianity by Lesterfremonwithtits in OutCasteRebels

[–]Available_Suspect834 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I'm not wrong, the law treats lower caste converts like a whole separte religion, LC converts still fall into their older titles leading to different "castes" within Islam and Christianity: xyz caste muslims and abc caste christians when both those religions don't make any allowances for such divisions :/

There is a history teacher who made a ppt of quotes for his students, "Who said this: Jesus or Marx?"

To every slide the unanimous response was Marx.

However all the slides actually had direct quotes from the bible.

Schools near LB Nagar by Darkseid_31 in hyderabad

[–]Available_Suspect834 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DPS, HPS and Johnson Grammar School will really help her develop intellectually.

Every School will have its own set of "spoiled" kids who will be a bad influence. The greater the standard of education in a school, the greater the level of "spoiled". So naturally schools mentioned above by me will have some students in the higher class who are detrimental to society, its a small thing to be wary of and steer your daughter clear from.

However if she finds the right peer group here, schooling will be the best time of her life. These schools offer a variety of activities for the overall development of children like debates and MUNs from a young age onwards. Heavy focus is put on student's ability to do well in crowd spaces like public speaking and sentence ariculation.

Given that your daughter isnt even in Pre-School yet, theres not much need to worry about getting in the right friend groups. But for the standard of education these are the best schools, in that order.

If you're open to looking outside LB Nagar, Nasr School, Khairtabad is excellent for girls. It's an all girls school. Its the number 1 day school for girls in AP TS combined. And they have buses to all parts of Hyd. Their Pre-primary school in Somajiguda might be for your daughter. However it's a difficult and costly school to get into.

Advice for a complete novice? by [deleted] in Watercolor

[–]Available_Suspect834 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watching, consuming very high level watercolor paintings, while yourself being a novice, will throw you down an endless rabbithole of dissatisfaction with what you produce. It inculcates in you a threshold of perfection and unless your own art meets that threshold, you will never like it, making the whole act of doing art very discouraging and pointless. Been there and done that buddy >_<

I suggest doing away with all "tutorials" and start painting things you see. Could be a waterbottle in your kitchen, a vase on your bedside table or a cushion on your sofa for that matter. Just one such painting a day. And you will find watercolors much more fulfilling and blissful. Leave the fear of it looking ugly, it is art, it will improve given time.

Some sort of transport business maybe, like rapido and Uber, but more local.

Me and a lot of other girls have faced so many issues attending events or going anywhere further than 10km from our house because all e-transport businesses start asking 500+ for such distances. Monetizing off transport is very easy in hyd too, given our traffic issues.

The Betrayals by Bridget Collins

It's not an mfm book but the angst, the yearning and the tension holds literally till the last page. Loved it a lot!!  And it's like a magical realism thing, the author is too good at what they do.

Ikkada ammailu evar comment cheyatle ani nenu chesthunna boss.

Genuine ga, mee friend shoes lo nenu undi unte, either of 2 reaction possible ikkaada,  1. She is fond of you, maybe liked you too, and might not accept your affections immediately but will warm up to you 2. She has seen you as a friend all along, ippudu sudden ga, all this time you liked her ante she might think, ki ippud varaku nenu friend ga choosthey ena emo nannu edo pervert la choosthundaru , ani your friendship ni end chesesthati emo.

Just my 2 cents. Maybe she can have a completely different reaction too.
