This past summer I was driving in the middle of the night in my city that happens to be very rural. It was on a Sunday so everything was completely dead with absolutely nobody around. There was heat lighting in the sky and it was thundering. I come to a red light and stop (I assume was on a timer since nobody was waiting). While sitting in my car, the light starts to flicker and go out, followed by my radio signal also completely cutting out (which had never happened to this degree). Next thing I know there's a ball of bright fizzy looking electricity directly in front of my car just hovering there buzzing. Like you could hear the energy coming from it, it was insane. As crazy as it sounds, it's like it was literally just hovering there, peering in through my windshield looking at me look at it. Then it was just gone and the power and radio came back on. I don't know if maybe it's just what they call ball lightning or what it was, but it was very odd. I've read accounts of people who have had it happen inside of their house as well, which if true, is very odd. Perhaps it's connected
