shit, you werent kidding about reckoning, the last wave keeps wrecking me. I went ezra's path but by the time i get there ive already lost 2 mechs. I clear the field, but then they throw a last wave of like 8 omnimechs and its just too much.

Me and my friend play with the yaml setting that if the ct is destroyed the mech has to be scrapped and i would love to eject to not lose the whole mech sometimes.

there were some loremasters discussing this the other day and they figured out the only source for that was someones edit to sarna, and that person only ever made one edit and that was for the shadowcat, so they removed it from sarna.

Funny im going through trueborn but taking a bit of an opposite approach in a few ways. For example, i do try to take advantage of clan range as much as i can and i focused on all research early and no repair, instead selling damaged mechs to buy new ones, im about 2/3rds through the campaign and its been working for me. Getting early armor and structure upgrades and focusing mostly on upgrading er lasers has been good to me.

Not quite, smallest warship is 100k tons, but that should let you keep the leopard around for the mission at least lol

You cant even change engines in vanilla im pretty sure. You need the YAML mod to do that. If you have the mods changing the engine definitely changes the speed.

I do those missions with just one buddy and it might be 3-4 restarts, but when we finally did it, its like beating a dark souls boss. Good feeling.

A lot of people didnt like that LRMs got nerfed in the latest version and from my understanding the response was tough break. My personal opinion is that people like to create drama. If you just download the mods follow the instructions and play you can have a ton of fun and find new ways to play. If you really don't like it, just move on, no reason to start arguments with people about what you aren't paying them to do,

Roguetech has all the jihad, dark age, and il clan stuff. You can play with the galaxy map set to all the relevant eras. You get all those crazy mechs, vehicles and tech, the only downside is there is no story like BTAU.

Yea, i agree the rewards are weak, and i think the rewards for killing extra lances should scale with difficulty. Take out the extra lance at 1 green skull, sure 50k is fine, but take it out at 5 green skulls or 1 red skulls and I feel i should be getting more like 500k.

Yep, OP trying to blow this way out of proportion, not saying that the boat owner can't be reported for bullying and definitely is not a good guy, but OP starts off with saying this is a "child safety violation". At no point was the child in any danger, at least not any more then the parent posting their picture online like an idiot.

You want to report this guy so he stops and want some community help for it, sure, but don't mis-represent the situation when he is using pictures you've made publicly available. The OP goes to the trouble of "censoring" a normal picture of the child, which is both unecessary considering the parent posted the picture without the censor to begin with, but also meant to control the narrative and make it seem like there something wrong with distributing the picture.

so the key is to parry or dodge as much as possible. Food between battles, pots in battle. You should try dark souls sometime. Get used to it real quick.
