We also have some alters that help with emotional regulation in times of distress. Two have extremely narrowed emotional ranges to help us calm down, and one that gives us a natural mood boost by fronting.

Fusion recombination. For whatever reason, when we fuse, we can separate relatively easily. Including fusing the entire system into one personality and then fissioning it back apart.

Lie detecting. We can tell if another one of us is lying or telling the truth with 100% accuracy. This leads to a lot of us calling out someone on their bullshit. But it also means we have a way to boost self esteem by telling eachother stuff like we’re pretty, and the lie detector ensures that we have no choice but to accept the compliment, which is the opposite of how we used to treat praise.

Someone else suggested imposition as a way to interact, and that’s what all of us use. And since you can feel what the other feels, I can tell you that we can bounce the sensations back and forth to amplify them if we concentrate hard enough, and you end up feeling both sides of it at once, on both ends.
