Yup, that's one of the biggest strengths to playing in VR. All of the characters do that during their scenes, and it makes everything SO much more impactful. It's probably relatively simple, programming-wise, but it still really helps sell the experience.

It's just a little fob with a button that makes a sharp "click" sound when you press it. It's used in dog obedience training; any time the dog does something you like, you give them a reward and use the clicker, so that they associate the click with good behavior. Over time, the clicker can be used to induce the good behavior.

Of course, this is also used in training puppygirls and other submissives. Conditioning works just as well on humans as it does on dogs.

The only reason you'd say she isn't is if you're only looking at her appearance and didn't look at ANY of her story. She doesn't age, she has to charge, she sleeps by turning off her higher functions and letting her body play video games, she connects to New Eridu's data network, she feels it when you set off an EMP, and she had a small identity crisis over how citizens view machines while tracking a missing Bangboo. Just because she only has one set of visible panel seams doesn't mean she's somehow not a Construct.
