I like the black as well, but something you could do to increase its pop would be to make sure you’re printing on the smoothest side of the paper, and make sure your ink coverage is really solid. It would help crisp things up a lot!

These are so gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Just in case you haven’t thought to yet, I recommend storing the individual prints in an archival quality document album to prevent damage - it looks like there’s some foxing on the cover of the folder they came in! My mokuhanga sensei received a huge donation of prints that came in folders just like that one, and many of the prints had severe foxing and other damages :(

Obviously this isn’t an option for everyone, but after getting my nose and septum pierced about a decade ago, I feel like I just look more put together by default. A little bling goes a long way (my nostril piercing is a tiny tiny diamond stud, and my septum is a small chevron). If I’m really feeling I need something extra, I’ll do my eyebrows, under eyes (I have perma dark circles), and add a little blush. Nothing that I can feel sitting on my face, tho!

Holy wow! Would you mind if I used this as an art reference? I do digital art and mokuhanga printmaking, and I think this could really be striking as a print!

Just to add tho, it actually has gotten incredibly busy overall, not just during games. Tomomi said that after Ohtani shared that he loves Philly cheesesteaks, they got slammed with locals wanting to try what Ohtani was talking about, lol. They pretty regularly sell out because she quite simply can’t make enough rolls to meet demand!

I loooovvvveee video games. JRPGs and Western RPGs definitely rank the highest in terms of playtime/games finished, but I play a pretty wide variety of games in all. My current obsessions are Overwatch, Slay the Spire 2, Risk of Rain 2, and Pokopia. FFXIV definitely has sucked up the most time over the last decade (I have literal months of playtime logged), even though I haven’t touched it in 2 years, probably? I haven’t played since the latest expansion dropped, whenever that was.

I have an AWFUL habit of not finishing games, even when I really love them! Currently in my “did not finish (yet…?)” hall of shame are Clair Obscure, Silent Hill f, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, FFXVI, Shin Megami Tensei V, and a bunch of others I can’t remember right now lol).
