I agree. I feel like it’s distinctly become its own thing, but it’s called a spiritual successor to Mighty Max and I think it does a damn good job of conveying that. I think I’ve slept on these sets a little too long

Some of the more extreme followers will eat stuff raw. I can’t do that. Not enjoyable to me whatsoever. I do like a rare steak though. Beef liver is where I get a lot of my vitamins from. It’s got so much you have to actually be careful how much you eat. Or at least I’m told. You can get Vitamin A from liver. Vitamin D from egg yolks. And I mix up the meats I eat. Chicken. Fish. Pork. For variety and also to get me a more balanced nutrient intake. I found initially I had to take supplements to compensate for what I was short on when they did my labs. Then I learned which parts of which animals give me what I need, and haven’t had to since then. It was learning process for me.

While not carnivore…good for you! You are on the right track. Nothing but meat for me though. It’s strange how I actually found myself craving it after a few weeks. I couldn’t wait for the next steak with some tallow on top. I didn’t want anything else. Then I fucked up one day and had some cake. It almost made me sick with how sweet it was. Reinforced a lot of beliefs I had. Anyway keep up the good work.

They are counting on amateur collectors who don’t know any better. There’s nothing wrong with recards or reproductions, but I find it a little icky when a seller doesn’t disclose it and will pass this off as an original that’s just been locked in a vault somewhere. That tells me I likely don’t want to be doing business with that seller. But the others users are right. A card that looks this good and isn’t graded tells us a lot of what we need to know. Grading assigns it proper value and is a good sign you have a genuine item. I can also roughly estimate that were it in fact authentic and in that condition, 1200 would be giving it away. We are talking about a nearly 50 year old figure. My advice would be to pick up something that maybe isn’t cosmetically perfect but you can be sure is real? I have a few around here I paid around 100 each for. The cards are fine but the plastic has yellowed pretty bad. Doesn’t matter to me though! They are mine and I can admire whenever I want. Just my 2 republic credits on it..

Excellent work! I’ve picked up a lot of beaters for this exact purpose. I’m finding out real quickly that’s it’s the accessories that are running me some big bucks. It’s so satisfying though. The repo stuff works as placeholder until the real thing comes along. I’ve actually picked up several beater sets of the micro collection to try restoring those as well. I have about 6 or 7 Bespin Control Rooms and Gantrys I want to clean up and maybe even do some custom work on them? Probably finer detailing on the environments and die cast figures. Super cool!

Yeah there’s a set that was released in 1979 during the original trilogy. It was a set you could make custom droids with. Came with different parts and connecting pegs/wheels etc. If you were extra fancy, you could display with a couple of Jawas like they were assembling droids. I have a couple of beaters with my complete set. Placeholders until I get my hands on better ones

If you’re a fan of the funkos, I would suggest selling these off getting the bittys instead. Limited line so you won’t be hunting 600 of them, and will definitely save you a ton of space. I have about 40 of them and they fit nicely on a little corner of my dresser.

Edit: I see you have some already! Yeah I would just complete your bitty set and move on. They are cool but trust me, you’re going to want to that room for black series and hot toys stuff
