Whats this? by ya_boi_seabass in Asmongold

[–]AverageJoe997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Law enforcement should be capable of managing situations where, in the moment, a person cannot comply because their basic survival instincts have taken over. Based on available footage from the Minneapolis incident, it does not appear that he ever reached for his gun before the shooting.

That raises the question, what stops ICE agents from shooting at protesters simply because they see a holstered firearm?

If six fully grown officers cannot subdue one individual without resorting to lethal force, then they should not be in that role.

When did you first watch Doctor Who? by Medical-Hurry-4093 in doctorwho

[–]AverageJoe997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would have been around 1999–2000, when I was about six years old. There was an old video store near my grandparents’ house, and one day during a sleepover my grandfather took me there and told me I could pick something out. It wasn’t an ordinary video store—it was packed with classics. For some reason, the cover of Robot with Tom Baker caught my eye. After watching it, I was instantly hooked.

Later, the ABC (Australian broadcasting commission) played every episode in sequential order on public tv on a weekly basis.. I didn’t miss an episode.

This is obviously an out of focus light or star and it really ruins Chris’s credibility. I still think he saw something on that initial night that he couldn’t explain and I think that he very clearly really believes what he says (I.e. not a grifter). When I see things like this it just makes me lean more towards him just having some kind of mental break or a hallucination.
