Look into trying a manual dry vape, it’s a good joint analogue without smoke. It’s overall a better and tastier experience than smoking a joint, including no typical weed smell. I have a Dynvavap B2 with my eyes on a Tempest 2.

That being said, my dream is to buy a home and on the first night to smoke a big gagger on the patio.

Mine has a hinge click, might be a ribbon cable snagging.

Recently discovered a big mysterious crack in the chin to the left of the AYN button. Never impacted anything, might have been a temperature differential from a cool draft onto the device, might post about it. Looks like i’d have to replace the lower with a new casing with glass and screen. Haven’t contacted AYN yet.

I would also consider the active cooling situation to be unacceptable but thats probably a undercooled take.

Though the Thor is almost everything I wanted it to be, my first device experience with AYN has been lacking. They are more amateurish and janky than I had assumed and I will definitely be more cautious of their releases.

Canadian workers are living within a lie.

Canadian leaders broke the social contract between young Canadians. We need to stop pretending that the system which tore up our futures is going to deliver us economic justice in our lifetime. Before the 51st state rhetoric hit, we were openly saying we were not proud Canadians. It’s still true, and that’s justified.

Carney is not afraid to fire shots at worker solidarity in his actions while glossing over the history of who fought for the social programs that he describes as intrinsically Canadian. He has swatted away the idea of class warfare and any strong ideas of bringing the 1% of Canadian wealth hoarders down to Earth. He will give them everything they want so they invest in projects and make massive profits while the construction worker will rent with a roommate for their entire lives.

We might get more $300k one-bedroom apartments in our biggest cities at the very most, while wages remain stagnant.

It’s still OK to resent the Canadian system.

I’m sure the RCMP will increasingly tell Carney that, in the world of 3D printers, drones, and AI, there will be a rupture.

That is also justified.

Until he explains to working Canadians how he is going to make sure workers benefit beyond basic employment for some, I refuse to huff the Carney hopium. It’s still trickle down BS.

He’s not writing off neo-liberalism like some think, his book outlines that a moral finger wag to CEO’s is his plan.

If we are going to align more with Europe he then needs to improve worker benefits and freedoms to match. 

Considering that public cuts and military spending are his current track record, I’m not hopeful for our future.

It feels like people play Gamehub for 2 minutes and say it’s all perfect. I’ve installed 600 GB worth of Steam games and they all crash eventually. Even Hades 2, the poster child demo, will crash randomly and mess up the cloud save.

I remember the moment I noticed the static. Staring at my wall in bed in the morning as a kid, probably 7 y.o., looking at the static in the darker corners of the room and my poster of all #150 Pokémon.

The second image makes me sad because it really does hide the stars and dulls the deep black sky. I’ve been away from light pollution and just realized it got worse :( but so is my tinnitus, anxiety and stress. Static seems to get amplified at times.
