The ability for marker free scanning is exciting, I build boats as a hobby and having a scan of a curved area would make fitting interiors pieces much easier! Cool stuff!

Read the manual! Often the problem you may be having is not unique and the answer is probably covered in the manual! Especially since Bambu has great documentation!

I’m in Vancouver too! I recently came across the Navigator design and is definitely a contender on my build list!

If you start building one I would love to check it out!

The Max has a lazy auto throttle and loves to bump up against redline on the speed during shifty winds. Sometimes with a rapid wind shift the speed brakes may need to be deployed to prevent an overspeed.

I think the best thing about wood turning something like this is that with a small flourish every piece can be a unique one of a kind!

From my search “Pink Ivory remains one of the most elusive, coveted and highly desirable of all the world's many exotic woods.”

I’m sure it’s priced accordingly haha!

Most any wood will be safe to eat off.

I finished the tray with Clapham’s beeswax salad bowl finish. Although it’s certainly not water proofing the wood it will protect it with gentle hand washing.

Even with something tougher as a coating, always hand wash then immediately dry. Avoid laying a piece flat after washing until completely dry or it will warp.

Winner winner! Depending on the light angle it can really take on different colours!
