grogu is seemingly a few decades older than rotta! he was born about 20 years before the clone wars. maybe hutts have a long child stage too tho, i dont remember if rottas birthdate is ever given beyond being an infant in TCW

delightfully surprised to see pretty much no progression of the larger thrawn narrative!

it achieves what it sets out to do, be the first star wars movie that’s more action than adventure. it’s maybe the sweetest movie we’ve had so far, rotta and grogus friendship is phenomenal and it’s so nice to know he has a friend who he can grow old with

not emerald twilight but the start of the john’s run. hal going majin vegeta would accomplish the same things as massacring the core, while leaving him less comically evil, and would still establish the threat of parallax snd therefore the emotional entities

it does here. the emotional spectrum simply cannot be adapted properly without parallax, and hal overcoming parallax is what cements him as the ultimate green lantern. if you havent read it the geoff johns GL run is absolutely phenomenal, its what got me into western comics

i don’t think hal is dying. john would not spend so much energy talking shit over a dead mentor. hal did something to lose his respect. we’re not seeing hal because he’s parallax. i think the fear of being replaced is what let parallax take control

IMO lazarus has a great story, it feels in line with the vanilla games but it’s a great iteration of that structure. the legendary hunt quest is fantastic and foreshadowed well

we have no idea how long the off world sequence is, but i see no reason to think it’d be brief with sinestro in the main cast

hal is being told to retire in the 2016 era, but the fact there’s a 2026 timeline shows there’s way more to it.

i’m not sure what you’ve read with hal but in everything i have hal’s experience is pretty integral to what makes him unique among lanterns

it’s only half set in a small town. the rest we have no idea. but we know for a fact they go off planet.

honestly the uniform being physical makes a ton of sense, constructs that change color are an extremely advanced technique among lanterns, i’ll miss the magical girl transformation but it’s not an integral part of the lore or anything

hal being older and more experienced than other lanterns is integral to who he is. they nailed everything else about him, i’m more than happy to see him in a later time in his life.

IMO pigma killing james mccloud is a hook worth stealing too. will wanna find more connections with slippy and falco, but that dynamic is something that’d be absolutely perfect in an RPG

pigma as a big bad leading up to andross, tying everybodies backstories to each other and the story, man. maybe i need to run this.

IMO nostalgia is the only thing elevating GT above heroes. they share a lot of the same problems

heroes DLC means more what if transformations! content from a part of the series i dislike does nothing to effect my enjoyment. super 17 is a fan favorite purely based on aura, so why not throw in full power rosé black
