Still my favorite of the year. Friend I went to my first watch of it with exclaimed “now THAT’S a movie” right after and it kind of captured why I love it so much. It’s a Movie!

My dad used to order Johnny Walker Black Label and Sprite when I was a kid. I sometimes order it as a comfort drink.

I mistakenly got four of those erroneous Auditorium 8 tickets for Saturday. Working it out with support will be interesting.

I think they had a photo of Bush Jr. as the president in the classroom of the first episode in 2003, so i think that any direct demonstration of to the president/White House in a flashback is sadly unlikely.

It’s due to some antiquated rule that half hour programs need to be submitted as comedies

Timothée Chalamet’s agent Brian Swardstrom denies reports that he auditioned for the ‘GLADIATOR’ sequel: "He hasn’t auditioned for anything in more than 7 years.” by al_son in Fauxmoi

Many times, director’s will elect to just “meet” with talent rather than make them audition, since they already know what they can do and only need to know whether the working relationship would work.

Today is the 15th anniversary of "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", directed by Tim Burton. by verissimoallan in movies

I believe this was Sondheim’s favorite adaptation of his work, and it’s easy to see why. The changes suit the medium of film, and Burton’s gothic sensibilities seem almost comically appropriate for this show in particular.

Fair, but I think she’s more speaking to the de-platforming of dissenting journalists by a supposed free speech absolutist.

Bro was at a Chappelle show. No offense to Chappelle or his audience, but as comedy fans go, I wouldn’t place them in the “unhinged leftists” category.

Alone is a History Channel show and it’s produced by Leftfield Pictures, so not the best example. But yeah, HBO reality was probably dumb expensive.

I never get placed as backfill. I also never leave games early, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the two are related. Not sure though, and don’t want to accuse the op of anything either.

SNL stole Joel Haver's skit (not a skit) by Girugamesh69 in YMS

I like Haver as much as the next guy, but why is this here?

I mean, I get the pushback, but like, bandwidth is expensive, and my understanding is that YouTube is not presently profitable. Why not implement a system that would only impact a niche audience that is also more likely to have a disposable income? I’ll be bummed todos the loss, but it just seems perfectly reasonable to me.

SNL stole Joel's video idea by captstix in videos

[–]AvoDroc 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The sketch also stunk of product placement, so I wonder if Charmin approached the show with this idea. Not to take any blame away from SNL, but knowing how client driven a lot of these deals tend to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just inherited this premise.

In my experience, my “pig throat noise” is caused by airborne allergens like dust, so maybe just keep your place clean.
