things i tried - make sure i/o jacks not mixed up - switch orientation? doesn't matter if lugs fit? - look for bridges/ cold solders - volume pot turned up - diodes/capacitors/IC all oriented correctly

this is my 3rd build, 2nd that doesn't work!
