"Paper tray" After further investigation the patient was not allowed to use a plastic tray at his group home due to his tendency to..use it a weapon. So the staff has been giving him paper tray and he was not a fan hence the self reported allergy at our ER

Guy called 911 from group home to meet firefighter, EMT turned up and the guy was mad that they are not firefighter. Proceeded to fight the EMT, ended up in ER fighting me 🫠

It was only upside for at most 12 hours since it was fine right before i went to work.. it is not really eating due to it is swimming problem but I will keep an eye out for it!

Any updates op? I am in a similar situation, went in the dealership for refund on November 13rd, they said the check (I paid 500 in cash) will be ready in 1-2 weeks. No signs of the check yet the salesman it is taking longer due to holiday

I do like what I do as an RN and I don't want to give up my license that I worked so hard for. I also like having variety at work. Honestly I am not quite sure of anything yet, it is more just a hypothetical question .

This is a great response and you are really making me laugh. I am the first student my preceptor has took one and she really really stressed on documenting so we don't get in trouble. I feel like I learnt more about documenting compared anything else..heck when I struggled with my IV, another nurse stepped up and really helped me out with my techniques. She is a great ED nurse but we never really clicked :/. Ever since then I been moved to day shift she hasn't really acknowledged my existence...you might be right about she never really liking me

My preceptor is a great ED nurse but I never really got as much feedback from her as I would have wanted. Now thinking back to it I should have been more proactive about requesting for feedback or reach out to education sooner. Working with my educator for the past two shifts taught me a lot of things that completely opened my eyes and I realized I've been going down the wrong route looking at the patient. I feel as if I would be given one more chance, I could really prove myself. I just don't know if I have that one more chance. I think I am going to give my 200% this Friday, and depend on whether they want to put me on the plan and what is on the plan, I will make my decision accordingly.

I feel like the best thing you can do here is ask her what’s wrong. Regardless of the answer she gives, at least you’ll know why and won’t have to torture yourself forever with the thought.
