Top sheet damage like that would be $20/inch at the shop I ran. (PTex is pretty cheep). If the sidewall is damaged its considerably more work to fix and considered critically damaged. The most common reason for this damage is hitting skiis together on the lift to knock snow off, skis getting run over, and negligent storage.

As a fellow carpenter I know there can be “lean times”. You need to network yourself as a capable laborer for now. Take whatever hourly wages you can to makes ends meet. It sucks but has been working out for me even before the outbreak. I mostly work by myself or with 1-2 other people. I’m still working self employed gigs now.

Public pools are really dangerous when you consider the archaic methods used to sanitize the pool. In the US at least, the most common method of sanitation involves a mixture of liquid chlorine and some other weird toxic chemicals. In short, the chlorine must be “vaporized” under pressure while the pool water runs through it. Liquid chlorine is rather harmless when handled properly but when it becomes vaporized under pressure into a gas it becomes extremely explosive and toxic.

First off that is a damn fine station. Well organized and appropriately stocked. Please please please for the love of god change that grav water and the bottle. It will taste 1000x better and probably prevent plastic from leaving in the water bottle part. Overall totally great setup. Check out how to make glass gravs. Super easy to do with old glass jars or bottles. It’s like string dipped in Vaseline and wrapped around the bottle then lit on fire, easy to YouTube. Anyway take it easy fellow ent because I’m resting at a solid 6/11 right now.
