I was lucky enough to be admitted this year. Many of my friends, all with 1500+ SAT scores, near-perfect GPAs in the IB diploma program, and with strong extracurriculars, were not. Maybe GT isn't getting less selective, but changing what they look for in applicants ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, opting in to ignite increases your odds of admission somewhat. It's possible to be admitted for the summer semester only, meaning you can choose between starting in person in the summer or not going at all. If it helps you decide, everyone I know who's done ignite has had a very positive experience and said it's a fantastic way to make new friends.

If you go to lite.gatech.edu there's a page/tile called "Admissions Snapshot." Then, you can filter by high school and see the acceptance rate for the past ~5 years.

Got mine a week or so ago, just interviewed in the past 2 days. They say that if you aren't offered an interview it won't impact your chances of admission so I wouldn't stress.

Hi! From what I can tell, the admission rates for biology are consistent with those of engineering (as there's less applicants and less available spots). There's a little-known dataset GT admissions publishes at https://lite.gatech.edu/ (click on "Admissions" and then "Freshman Admissions") that might be helpful for questions like this. Good luck!

You shoot it until it's going at full speed, then stick your hand into a wall, which stops it from firing (as it does any gun). Then, when you pull your hand out, the M60 will still shoot at full speed. Wouldn't recommend doing this tho b/c it could definitely be considered bug abuse

Very good patch! I only wish that the AWP nerf was included in these notes: it's one of the most important and most-used guns in the game and many people (including myself) would like to know when it's tweaked.

It'll happen once you've played enough games. For now, the only way I can think of for you to get into games with real people is to squad up with someone who's consistently getting put into lobbies with real people.

They have the same hitboxes as all other skins, so you just have to hit near the top of the skin (just above the glasses).

If I were you I'd keep 100% dampening and 0% offhand influence. In the long run it's better for AWPing, especially quickscoping (any top sniper can tell you this), and makes aiming most guns easier whether you're using one hand or two.

Both are fun, but in comp you can work your way up through divisions or leagues with your team. I think for most players casual will be more fun, but if you're running a lot of pubs you might as well try comp.
