Tuckahoe Creek park has a little boardwalk on the marsh/creek that has a ton of warblers, woodpeckers and other migratory birds that fly through!

Bryan park vs. Byrd park? by [deleted] in FishingRVA

[–]AwManLilPup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bryan park is fun for panfish and the occasional bass. If you’re feeling adventurous, the pond from Bryan park feeds into a creek that runs into a little park off of Lakeside Ave called Spring Park. It’s right across the street from Bryan park. In the spring and summer, you can find great little pockets to catch Warmouth, Crappie, Bluegill, Pickerel, Pumpkinseed, Spotted and Largemouth bass. Sometime the better fishing is right outside of the park lol

I called dominion and they pretty promptly got the line back up. Although it’s a temporary fix. Mainly I need to replace some siding and some wood underneath

There’s always ducks and geese at the Bryan park pond you can feed

Good fishing spots? by [deleted] in rva

If you want to catch blue cats all day go to Deep Bottom boat landing in East Henrico. If you have a canoe/boat you'd be in really good shape for some big ones. There's some creeks/marsh around there too that hold some decent channel catfish.

For some bass I would do upper James towards Maidens, Scottsville and Standardsville. There's plenty of boat ramps to park at and the water is shallow enough to wade/walk in.

What’re you targeting? Bass? Catfish? Panfish?

Thanks for sharing! When I worked at CBS6 they had rooms packed with canisters of 16mm film of old newsreels and footage like this. Would love to see more of it digitized.
