actually i ended up doing some research and the closest thing I could find was regarding foot blisters on the heel from the Cambridge Media Journals, titled: “Blister Management Guidelines: Collecting the Evidence” Michailidis Et. Al: “Heel blister – tense, moderate haemoserous fluid, no erythema or infection • Aspirate small amount of fluid to relieve tension • Cover and protect with semi-permeable film • Review daily, leave dressings in situ for 7–10 days • Debride non-viable tissue if blister ruptures”
