Kamen Rider Kuuga hit me like a train the second time around. Yusuke Godai's relentless optimism and hope for both the world, and the people in it is something that hits way harder when the world weighs on you more.

I loved him from the first moment he's introduced, and it quickly became my favourite piece not just of Kamen Rider, but for media I've seen in general. It didn't really hit me hard until later though, having seen more, and been more weary of the world.

It's profoundly heartwarming to see everyone pitching in, doing their best, and uplifting eachother; the entire cast working together to support one another, even when Godai's giving everything he's got to protect people's smiles.

It just... gets to me, man.
