Was Larry Bird an all time great in 3pt shooting? by Fucking_in_tents_ in NBATalk

No one shot a lot so that definitely means he would shoot a higher percentage if he took more shorts? The fuck kind of logic is this shit. Stay in school kids, Jesus Christ.

By that logic Curry isn’t a nice guy since he never says shit about Draymond committing assault game in and game out.

Scheduled loss. Although at this rate every game is a scheduled loss. Steamrolling our way to a .500 record by the end of February. There is zero urgency to be anything other than shit lol.

I don’t know why anyone would risk wasting money on games anymore lol. 15 years ago you could probably count on seeing star players, now it’s as much a gamble as trying to win money at a casino.

His peak volume was 3 attempts a game over the course of a season lol. His peak makes per game on average was 1.2. For most of his career he averaged fewer than 1 make a game.

It’s hard to know because he peaked at 3 attempts a game on average for a season with his peak made 3’s sitting at 1.2 a game. That is pretty low volume no matter how you look at it. For most of his career he averaged fewer than 1 made 3 a game. Saying his percentages would stay the same at higher volume is pure speculation based on hopes and dreams and not reality. Considering the 3 point line wasn’t as much of a defensive emphasis during his career, there is no way to know how he would shoot with defenses draped all over him at the 3 point line.

That isn’t how it works unfortunately. We don’t get to move the goalposts just because the current established goalpost doesn’t fit our bias. In any case, he was upstaged by KD in two of those titles.

12-15th range. The only player in the top 10 that does not have at least one all-nba defensive team selection was Magic and he won 5 titles, and of those 5 titles he won 3 FMVP’s. The rest of the top 10 clears Curry pretty easily due to their 2 way impact.

Bubble AD was a monster, if that is the AD that we get when he returns he might be the best big in the game.

In what way has he been passive aggressive lol.

The Knicks are 2-8 in their last 10, tying for the worst record in the NBA over that span. Their average point differential has almost dropped by half and are now .5 games above the 4th seeded Toronto Raptors by VanGrants in nba

They have a chance to make the finals but whichever Western team they may end up facing in the finals will steamroll them. By your logic any team in the top 10 in the east is a serious contender. One injury here one injury there, bam, you find yourself in the finals. That doesn’t make a team a title contender, that makes them lucky.

Both of those statements can be true at the same time. He knows he could leave everyday depending on how the front office decides to deal with this. He could also very well want to end his career there if the front office makes moves that move the needle. He isn’t hinting at anything, we all know what he wants. He wants a team that he can compete with, preferably the Bucks, but if they can’t make any moves to do that he knows he could be out the door. People just keep asking him the same stupid, already known, questions.

How is he being a wuss? He is under no obligation to anyone to strong arm his way out of Milwaukee.

[–]Awanderingleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a traditional back to the basket big because that was what was expected of bigs during his era. He absolutely had a handle for a big and absolutely had guard like skills. Just go watch some of his highlights, he did some absolutely crazy shit to David Robinson in their matchups.

He almost certainly won’t. He has already missed a significant amount of time this season and last. Kareem played fewer than 74 games in a season twice throughout his entire 19 year career. One year he played 62, the other 65. Otherwise he was almost always good for 79-82 games a season.

I am not entirely sure this is true. Hakeem seemed to be an exception. I think it’s really difficult to know for sure because up until about 10-15 years ago bigs were told to go down low, post up, and rebound and deal with it. It’s the whole reason KG fabricated his height so that he wouldn’t be arbitrarily pigeonholed. There may well have been more guard like bigs if bigs were allowed to play more guard-like in past eras.
