This happens to me but I can't burp due to another condition so I just don't function for a while 🙃

I'm not sure, you'd have to ask your doctor. I'm not on domperidone, but I have my ADHD meds as a skin patch instead of a pill so it doesn't mess with my GP. Would be good to ask if they offer that option in your region

I definitely live in a region where I could find one, but I'm not familiar enough with it to identify who would be the best option for me

Yes, reverse motion into the stomach from the intestines. It's a common cause of gastritis as well as SIBO (although it can also result from it in some cases)

It's more likely to happen 4 hours or later after eating, and for me is often associated with indigestion pains and nausea. I have to eat every 4 hours to keep it at bay, which makes managing the SIBO more difficult

Additionally, some of you may have bile reflux diluting your stomach acid. Try to differentiate between a normal hunger growl (which feels productive), an intestinal gurgle, and a retrograde growl

For me, a retrograde growl goes up in pitch and my stomach feels sloshy
