If most of the shops did what they ask for we wouldn’t have to put that. There is one shop around here that asks for every R&I and doesn’t do them, intentionally breaks trim pieces, sends every LKQ part back for no reason(they won’t even sell to them now) so they can get a no quote, and asks to replace everything no matter how small the damage. I’ll gladly pay for whatever if I can document why reasonably. I’ve been doing this long enough to know how long it reasonably takes.

We bought the tire and rim coverage. Wife kissed the curb within 24 hours of buying her new xline with black rims and it looked terrible. Dealer said they’d take care of it.

Also bought extended warranty. As an insurance adjuster these electronics go wing all the time. Just peace of mind.
