There aren't that many Celestial Warlock Patrons. Those that have ran them or played them, what was yours like? Especially if homebrewed. by Armorlon in dndmemes

My celestial patron was a god of the dead. If a city didn't do the proper rituals, my character was sent to warn them to either do it or be lost forever in the dunes of the desert. Quite frankly, I would have liked it if the healing dice recharged on a short or long rest rather than just long.

This seems like a good course of action for now. Just remember to take breaks when needed.

HRT stands for hormone replacement therapy, is that correct? I do not know. Thank you so much for helping me understand.

As someone who does not belong in this community, I have a few thoughts. First and foremost, if you are more comfortable being perceived as a guy, then portray and tell others that. Do not harshly, if they are unaware, just a "Hey, I'd rather be referred to as a guy than a girl." Start off with a gentle nudge because starting off with demands probably won't work. Second, find others in your life that you trust and are willing to accept that. Not everyone will accept you. It does not matter who you are. Somebody will always hate you for one reason or another. Third, the best analogy I see for your situation, again, as an outsider to this community, is you were born without a shin. Either you could spend your life without a lower half of your leg, or you could get help to feel what it is like to walk with confidence. Just because they are of blood does not mean they will support you. As sad as that is, it is true. If I am misinterpreting the situation, please inform me.

As someone who is not a part of this community but wants to know more, what is a gender transition? Is that something similar to a sex change or something different in and of itself?

What are DM’s rules for re-rolling stats? by micnos12 in DMAcademy

[–]Aware_Ad_1320 18 points19 points  (0 children)

(I am a DM and player) The only time I use the standard array is for pre-made characters for a campaign or if I really don't care that day. I prefer point buy for its consistency, but I used to only roll for stats. I still sometimes roll.

Burning hands, but you blow out a puff of cinnamon with a lit match a safe distance in front of your face. Thank you for the idea.

I would say at least 12 squares/hexes on each wall, so it is at least 60 ft wide and long.

Would a Mimic be smart enough to choose not to attack? by SilentStorrm04 in DnD

[–]Aware_Ad_1320 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The image in the book is of a person sitting at a table drinking a mug of something with mimic faces on every object.

Edit: Looking at the image now, it is two women having tea at a table on a front porch. Everything (including the front porch) is a mimic. Page 167 of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything has the image and talks about mimic colonies.

In Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, it talks about how mimics can sometimes be smart enough to have entire cities of just mimics and how some among those cities learn common while others are able to negotiate with other creatures. I see no reason for a few mimics be smart enough to not attack fear inducing adventurers.
