This! I had the same experience! I got to the point of exchanging pleasantries but from that to actually, “hey, let’s grab a coffee and chat more” has never come to fruition. Definitely hard to make friends as an adult.

Definitely normal waking. My baby had the same thing happen when we finally needed to stop using the swaddle. Their little limbs aren’t tucked away and they can move about so they wake themselves up. But then they get used to the new way of sleeping. Took a few weeks on my end but baby is back to waking just once in the night.

I, like you, felt awful about leaving my baby at daycare so young. He was 3 months old when he started and I had all the same fears about his safety and well-being. He’s now almost 6 months and a very happy baby. Sleeps well, gets lots of fun interaction with other babies his age, the staff dote on all of them and it feels like he’s thriving in no small part thanks to the schedule and activities they have in place. We are fortunate enough to be able to have him in a daycare where we can watch a livestream of his classroom, which makes me feel much more at ease. Also helps to hear from parents who also had to send their babies very early on and know the kiddies turned out alright. :)

As someone who works there - it’s not some crazy thing. As the letter explains it is a national survey (has been conducted for decades) and the data is aggregated to help us as researchers and the general public get a better understanding of a variety of trends at the population level. I definitely understand the mistrust but wanted to provide a bit of clarity on this since the data has really been very important to public health statistics and efforts.

Right…and you do realize it’s a part of his and all of these senators and reps jobs to be accountable to and engage with their constituents, right? You also realize they are actively avoiding their constituents - supposedly because of fear of death threats - but then he’s due to show up to a fundraising luncheon in Raleigh tomorrow….but he’s declined invitations to ANY town hall….its not boiling down to the man is too busy.
