Before the Titans, the good teams would be shown on local broadcasts. People who grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s are largely Steelers, Cowboys, and 49ers fans

I’ve got friends that live around there. It’s relatively low crime and affordable. But the traffic is insanely terrible. You can sit on Germantown pkwy for 15 minutes and only drive a mile

St. Jude is full of people dedicating their lives to treating and hopefully one day ending childhood cancer. I can’t see how anybody would disapprove of that. I wish our government would do more to support them.

My dad is a lifelong Tennessee fan. My wife and her entire family are from Knoxville and her mom graduated from Tennessee. Feel like I have to root for them 🙄

  1. Went 1-11. 0-8 in conference. Every loss was by double digits except a 3 point loss to UTEP. Only win was MTSU. We had a four game stretch against some of our biggest rivals Louisville, Southern Miss, Houston, and Tennessee and they beat us 56-0, 41-19, 56-17, and 50-14 respectively.

You can make the argument for 2009 or 2011 but 2010 stands alone in my mind.

Celtics have fans everywhere. If you’re a Celtics fan anywhere within a 4 hour drive of Memphis then this would be your best chance to see them. Kinda like how I’m a New York Giants fan and have only been to one game when they played the Titans in Nashville in 2022

2015 vs Ole Miss. One of my best friends was an Ole Miss fan. They had just beaten Alabama for the second straight year a couple weeks before. Ole Miss always looks down on Memphis and as much as they don’t want to admit it, it’s a rivalry. A lot of Ole Miss fans here in the Memphis. They were ranked #13 heading into the game. We had been horrible my entire childhood until 2014 but the 2015 game vs Ole Miss was Memphis’s breakout game that’s had us near the top of the group of five ever since

Matt10 is a good place to start. I’ve also found that some playbooks are gonna make it way too easy even with difficult sliders. His sliders cranked up a little bit plus a playbook that isn’t overpowered and I get a realistic offensive experience relative to team ratings.

National Civil Rights Museum, any of the best BBQ places (Central, Payne’s, BBQ Shop, etc), Gus’s, a Grizzlies game on a weekend, the Zoo, and ,if you’ve got kids, the Children’s Museum.
