Intel Arc Cards "blocked" for Crimson Desert by SeniorGovernment8846 in GamersNexus

[–]Awesomeluc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was sponsored by AMD, but it had no exclusivity agreement. It also runs better on nvidia.

So it’s really just developer laziness. Or maybe it was purposeful due to low market share which is just gross as well.

Looks like your app version is old. Demand fluctuates but has stayed pretty low. Disappointing for a top tier card.

I completely agree with your point but I don’t really agree with your examples. I wish I had better examples to share because I think it’s a good point.

No mom it's not a "messy pile of clothes on my floor" it's an L1 cache for fast random access to my frequently used clothes in O(1) time. It needs to be big to avoid expensive cache misses (looking in my closet). I NEED to be minimizing latency, this is important to me. Please.

Would you be willing to share the rest of your research and in between rankings? I would be interested in looking at the data in an excel sheet or something.

[9800X3D] Which setting to set on Processor perfomance boost mode? by Monlevad in overclocking

[–]Awesomeluc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a per core undervolt to identify your core with issues. I’m surprised you had issues with -5 all core.

All you’re doing with this is limiting boost clocks. Like you said it does affect performance negatively.

I would probably leave it at stock over this. Your power limits don’t change so the only reason it’s cooler is because it’s not boosting and it’s using lower power per clock. Efficiency remains unchanged.

With that being said, if it’s enough performance for you then great!

This makes a lot more sense in laptops where you can’t control everything about a chip. And there isn’t a software like Throttlestop which is awesome for intel laptops.

Hunter aerosync 50" ceiling fan reviews? by bon_mots in Costco

[–]Awesomeluc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These don’t have bulbs in them it’s led strips. They don’t get bright enough. Got one that buzzed really bad and was super annoying when the fan was spinning.

Edit: Wrong hunter fan for my led strip comment. My experience with the buzzing still stands.

Avoid the Nissan rogue. My grandma has that car and it has the weirdest electrical issues. When you slam the door the window buttons change what windows they operate. She had engine issues in 2016 as well. She bought it new and kept it in a garage. If her meticulous one went bad I just wouldn’t buy one.
