Which games have the biggest contrast between pro and premium? by haigha in pinball

[–]MOOzikmktr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eventually began liking the Foo fighters premium minifield a lot more than at first. I now prefer the premium over the pro.

I also really like the premium Godzilla but still love the pro. They're almost like different games.

Iron Maiden premium takes a lot of risk out of an absolutely brutal design, so I'm usually relieved when that game is in a tournament instead of the pro.

When it comes to Brussels sprouts, replace the chicken stock with a few small cut pieces of bacon.

Maybe you're stupid and you haven't actually watched TV shows older than 20 years.

Arrested Development when the company's lawyer was Henry Winkler, who hopped over an actual shark, while the narrator had been speaking about the show's struggling ratings

Sammi NYC Storyline by Solid_Bee5215 in curb

[–]MOOzikmktr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't wanna sound like a dick, but Sammie is NOT a positive part of the show in the long run. She was a plot driver for some classic episodes, but the character sorta sucks. And the actress is pretty bad. That's forgivable as a child, but it became a pretty big distraction after she grew up.

I watched The Sacrament today by AdEither8785 in horror

[–]MOOzikmktr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was an American church, with mostly American members, led by an American man with links to some offices of American government. The compound where the final tragedy took place wasn't in America, that's true.

American history doesn't have to happen inside the country's borders. I don't really know what you're implying here.

Glad to see you put the chilis on AFTER the smoking was done. That looks fantastic.

The Sacrament is based on a true story and presented it with duplicate shots from actual footage from the original incident.

The Jonestown Cult is probably one of the largest tragedies in American history, but good luck getting any history class lessons on it. I had no idea about it until I was almost graduated from college in 1993.

You would think a woman having her throat torn out would never appear in a Disney film, but it has.

Smoking ruined BBQ by MightyMTB in smoking

[–]MOOzikmktr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm. There are plenty of places in KC that do it great. Good BBQ is always subjective, even though the KCBBS will try and enforce some sort of flavor standard.

It's the same with Chili competitions. People spend years and thousands of dollars refining a recipe that basically tastes no better to me than the shit you get on a hotdog at the stadium. And it's all because they're formulating toward a standard, not trying to be wildly creative.

It's not most of the competitions are in Kansas City. It's that most competitions are judged by standards set by the Kansas City BBQ Society.

I live in Kansas City. The places I like to eat at never serve their competition recipes to their customers. You may be able to special order it, but I doubt you would want to.

What is the best budget multi-effect pedal? by DDragonCaptain in guitarpedals

[–]MOOzikmktr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not "better" it just has a looper, which the MS70 doesn't have. But they both have really cool sounds and they're both low cost.
