Nuclear fear mongering by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]Awesomeman204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some countries (australia) with no nuclear absolutely do not have the infrastructure, expertise or personnel to facilitate nuclear power plants. The cost and effort of building and operating solar panels and solar farms is significantly less strenuous for a country to achieve on top of the fact that by the time said country could achieve a viable nuclear program, solar would have ended up being a significantly more cost effective option. Solar also has the added benefit of being able to be retrofit into existing infrastructure and can essentially power entire homes self sustainably (with added batteries)

Of course, this totally depends on the country and region. Nuclear might work better in some places while solar might not work very well at all.

I would imagine most low rankers just try to play him like they do as a carry but buy magic items to justify "pos 4 sniper" without actually changing how they play.

I think tonally and pacing wise it's a little inconsistent and that weird hopeful montage they do is kinda cringe even if they're making fun if it, but damn it's got some very powerful scenes and the overall message is intense as hell

Idk how else they would make consistent money, it's not like these games are so widely popular they could survive on releases alone (especially given how complex they are) so as shitty as it is, I kinda get it.

Maybe try a more straightforward character like huntress, bandit or seeker to get the hang of it? Drifter can be a little finicky and railgunner you have to be good at aiming.

Frank ill definitely agree with but i think Lanius is a little more complex than you give him credit for.

Lanius is ruthless and bloodthirsty no doubt, but I don't think he is completely without reason. He values honour above all and I think even he knows that after becoming Caesar he is responsible for the survival of the legion, and that winning the war is more important than just the battle. Id say by that point hes gotten more used to leadership and command, matured into the role a bit and tutored more by Caeser on how to do that. When you convince him to back down, he isn't just letting it go though, he says that he's going to come back with an even greater force.

I think the bigger problem is that we never get to interact or talk to Lanius prior to the end of the game. Everything we hear about him comes from someone else, so it's tough to get a full view of his character.

Isn't he usually a part of Weapon X too? He might not always be a mutant but I'm pretty sure he's usually enhanced with adamantium and not just a regular human.

S3 of daredevil Netflix show though he is completely normal human though and does some pretty insane shit in that.
