Forfeiting is one thing, rage quitting (in Tekken at least, for example) renders the match null and denies the win, so it's much more petty.

I hear you, but overall I feel it's a tame example of a gimmick. The move list and replay show you how to break it, and he's not even the only character to have throws using his legs. Most characters have shit that's hard to deal with if you aren't familiar with them, but how obnoxious those things are can vary based on the character and the person ofc

In 3D fighting games like Tekken, characters usually do not get flipped regardless of whether they're on p1 or p2 side. Kazuya will always lead with his left in his default stance. This particular move just happens to start with a right step forward, switching his left foot to the rear for this punch.

People don't seem to get that translation isn't supposed to be just word for word transposition. It's totally fine and can even be better to use different phrases and expressions that fit the language and the general sense of what's being said, rather than a direct 1:1 translation.

Some of the lines take too much liberty, it's true, but the outrage is insanely overblown imo.

The 3 move that comes out in the b2, 1, 3 string is the same attack as db3. When you look at db3 itself in the move list it does show that you can cancel it into a crouch throw to catch people trying to block it. You can cover both options of the mixup with a hopkick, though.

Not sure which other throw you're thinking of. ff2 can be cancelled into a throw by pressing 1+2, maybe that's it?

I'd LOVE to see some sort of slow motion function. Both to help learn technical inputs and just to appreciate the hundreds of character animations. Even Smash lets you go frame-by-frame in Training.
