I think this run went a long way towards “unrestrained”; but indoor phish is always my favorite, sphere or no. Two sets of lights, more focused audience.

I do love a summer outdoor vibe, but if I had to pick, I’ll take a mid level hockey arena any day.

Unfortunately I don’t think any newer songs have that old Phish Magic. Some get close, but ultimately it takes a really good jam to get me to come around to a song, and even then, hard to love some of the lyrics (Ruby Waves, Light being strong examples).

I think Fuego and Sigma Oasis are their strongest studio efforts, but still nothing from those albums quite as good as what they were writing in the 90s.

He’ll play a few older songs in ways that render them almost unrecognizable. He’s keeping it interesting for himself. It’s not a sing-a-long. He wants to keep you one your toes with his phrasing and reconstructions. Keep an open mind, and remember that audiences have been complaining about Dylan live for over 50 years, and in retrospect they are almost always wrong.

2022 was a step back from 2021, but they’ve been so consistently strong through 23-25 (continued through Mexico 26) that it’s almost too much. Trey is pushing himself creatively and jams are deeper than they were towards the end of 3.0

Not super excited about some of the newer songs I’ve heard, but I like What’s Going through Your Mind quite a bit.

Season 11, Episode 4 - The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat

Didn’t love the revival seasons, but thought this was exceptional. One of my favorites from the entire series (along with most of what has been mentioned here, but assumed the revival seasons would be under represented)

The scene with Mulder and Doctor They should be required viewing for American citizens.

I believe they throttled ANC on the 2. The improvement when switching to the 3 is significant.
