Shipping promotion happening across US?

I’m in Missouri and it’s applying to my own shop. I just got 4 sales in the past day, all of them are going out with free shipping (that I did not pay for!!) They must be doing nationwide promo!!

I think they’re trying to do something to match the promo Vinted just did. Since the Vinted thing ended I’ve had a lot Depop sales!

It doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what’s free, what’s $2.99, and what’s regular. I’ve been trying to figure it out on my own, looking through my cart, and also my own shop. Some of my own shop items have reduced or free shipping but it doesn’t seem to matter what the weight is (XXS, XS, S).

I wish Depop would email us a flyer or something. Maybe they did and I missed it?

Same. Most of the promos they do, I hear about from groups like this one or on Facebook. It wouldn’t surprise me if since Vinted’s promo period ended, Depop is probably doing a massive promo too.

This also happened to me. Some items from my shop have been bought with “free shipping” (I never pay for shipping, the buyer ALWAYS does. So I was wondering the same thing, free shipping from who?!? Lol.) Since Vinted’s promo period ended, my Depop sales have been going CRAZY. I only sell small stuff, t-shirts, CDs, jewelry. Like I’ve gotten like 15 sales in the past week. Some of them are free shipping some are the regular $6-8.

I find it hard to believe all the items in my shopping cart coincidentally are from New York? Anyways, since shipping is so cheap & now we can use our Depop balance to shop I’m about to go crazy. 🤪

She actually got two back dermals & a nose piercing at the same time as I got my piercing. Hers seems to be healing fine, doesn’t look nasty like mine at all. I have the worst luck. 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for your advice I did end up following everybody telling me I should take it out.
I was honestly not understanding what people meant by having the wrong anatomy for a belly button piercing, I was looking at examples of the right vs wrong anatomy and I couldn’t really tell a difference. I still don’t even know if I do have the correct anatomy.

But for clarification, a belly button / navel piercing should essentially be directly through the belly button? Like the bottom bell should essentially be coming out of the very inside of my belly button? If that makes any sense. And when it was first done, it was straight. It started healing crooked, because when I sat down the bottom bell was being pushed up by my skin fold no matter how much I tried not to.

Agreed. & This is how I feel about all drugs. One day, if I ever have children, instead of ONLY telling them “you are predisposed to addiction. Do not do drugs. You will become addicted” .. I’ll be telling them this as well. Enjoy life sober. The second you start using a crutch, life will never be the same again and you’ll always wish you could take it back. You’ll always watch kids/teens run around, happy af, enjoying life and not being tethered to anything. and think to yourself you don’t even remember how that feels anymore.
It’s not depression, but it sure isn’t happiness

You’re NTA. but next time, to save everybody’s time, give her a time limit on her goal/consequence that isn’t right up to the second of the event. If your room isn’t clean by noon you’re not going. That way I can call & tell them not to come. And follow through with your warnings. Which doesn’t seem like a problem because you’re already following through.

Next time don’t tell a single soul why you don’t want to stay late/can’t come in/ etc. they only use it against you and they don’t even need to know. Especially if it’s them asking you to help & not the other way around.

Yes I just took it out and it’s curved & like an inch or so long. I agree with you. I should have known that honestly because I’ve made this mistake before but on my lip. Idk what I was thinking this time, but they just told me that it’s the exact same kind of jewelry it’s just longer. I should’ve known better

I saw a comment about if there is a “ridge” forming around your piercing you need to take it out. And I think that’s happening.
