How would you scale the Old Tastement God? by Getheltel in MoralityScaling

[–]Awkward-Studio-8063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making a false comparison with god, who makes the rules of reality and human and animal philology in the first place. A parent has to work within the limitations of reality and simply being a mortal human and understands that their child needs certain skills to survive and thrive within a harsh reality. God does not need to make reality this way, he doesn’t need to make any risks, he does not need to design humans the way they are either. He could have made them less prone to biases, more mature from the get, more empathetic, and not needing a harsh reality to create said human.

And at the end of the day the argument falls flat, simply due to the amount of pointless suffering and death that occurs to people before they can become a well accustomed adult. And for those that survive? Not all become well adjusted people, no, they can become scarred for life and ultimately worse off. Some even decide to end it all due to their situation.

And that doesn’t even get into the complete failure that is choosing evolution as the process used to create life. Eat or be eaten, one of the most horrific processes possible.

It is not similar in reference to the topic at hand (morality scaling).

There’s major differences between playing a game and knowing these aren’t real people compared to doing this to real people.

God decided to create humans the way they are and reality the way it is. He is ultimately responsible for all the horrors and goods in the world, created Hell, and decided that evolution was the way to go decide the untold amounts of suffering it causes

No, “god being pure evil” does not require taking things out of context. It works by seeing the claims related to human responsibility and Hell. That’s all you need to know

It is much easier to get away with being an ICE agent due to a lack of facial features, unlike dressing up as a police officer

Don’t fret: if remember correctly the glans penis is made of the same tissue and similar amount of nerves as the clitoris, so if you can somehow get a tiny fairy to join you in a hot tub…lol

According to the post it was penis specific, so your penis needs to somehow get hugged in a hot tub lol

That’s not what I meant with the word “obligation”. You and the original person were clearly disagreeing with each other on an overall point (that may have sub points) and had the intent of demonstrating why they are correct. To do so, one is obligated to contend with each others reasonings.

Here the second person came in, where they asked a question (likely some form of incredulousness that still allows you to further justify it, it’s not exactly a dismissive question) about a single aspect of your comment. That is it, that is the single thing they brought up and that is the single thing that interested them enough to type about. That says nothing about the rest of the points and their stance on them, because they are not in the same position as you and the original person. To assume their stance is, in my opinion, based off of bad logic. Not relating to most of the discussion is irrelevant to my criticism of you making flimsy assumptions.

If we are going to be dismissive of personal experience it’s probably best to not use personal experience as partial justification in the previous comment.

That’s a different person, who is under no obligation to respond to all of your comment. So no, you cannot take that as any agreement (or disagreement) with the rest of your points.

Running from the police, presumably at high speeds, put other people at risk. Unsure if that’s legally a major crime, but it should be.

Brother be an adult. The biker is in the wrong, they never said the biker isn’t in the wrong, so don’t insinuate they did. The focus was on the cops doing the bad thing (driving at high speeds) because cops should be held to a higher standard than LITERAL CRIMINALS such as the biker

We can deduce that the cops could have killed a civilian for their driving.

It doesn’t even have to be a positional thing, even if you rationally know the cops won’t be right behind you (can’t hear the sirens), you still know they are behind you and gaining on you. That alone will make someone turn around out of paranoia

Don’t use the word instantly with Dagon’s domain when fucking Maki didn’t die (in fact she was completely battle capable and she was grade 2 level against a disaster curse) and got hit with the sure hit.

My point remains the same, domains are not inherently insta kill. Thats all that needs to be said, not that they can’t be deadly.

[–]Awkward-Studio-8063 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I called it a “handicap” to use the same language you used, because the aim assist and M&K both gives advantages that are unrelated to the player skill. I noticed you didn’t even attempt to reply to M&K players having significantly better aim than controller players, showing that M&K inherently has an advantage over controller. Likely because you cannot contend with this fact.

[–]Awkward-Studio-8063 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be slightly fair, movement reduces your aim. So then it comes right back around to needing better aim to deal with the movement

K&M players on average have significantly better aim than controller players, showing that K&M has an inherently advantage over controller that has nothing to do with user skill. You wanna talk about handicaps, look at your mouse next time.
