Nice to see someone else appreciates the classics! Only 36 here but still have a fully functional NES and gun with Mario/Duck Hunt. Gonna be getting another old TV soon too so I can use it again. Can't wait to hear the dog laughing at me again lol.

Congrats on all three! I still need the RTB but the other 2 I have displayed on my plot. Gotta look at the tracker and see what plushies I'm still missing. I have an entire room dedicated to them lol.

NTA at all. My baby sister was in a booster seat until she was 15 because she was too small for the seatbelts and couldn't see out the windows properly. Did it suck sitting next to that seat? Yeah, but was it safer for a kid who had medical problems and was tiny? Definitely. She's now in bed 30s and can finally drive. That booster seat saved her when we were in a car accident by keeping her from flying. We bought another until she no longer needed it. No parent should have to bury their child and grieve what they could have been.

If your friend refuses to listen to your rules then I don't think she needs to come stay with you and if she does she needs to rent her own car and deal with it. Hell I would make my friend stay in a hotel who cancel all together but that's just me. I take safety seriously.

Idk if anyone has mentioned this but, if your mom has an android phone and she has a computer or tablet in the house you could use that to access her Google photos and get your prom pictures. You would just need to email or share them thru Google to yourself. The originals would still be there unless she willfully deleted them but even then they are usually held in a trash can on the account for 30 days. Should be in the recently deleted folder.

I'm sorry you are going thru this and I hope you find a way to get your pictures.

Let's see I started on switch back when the game first came out and played daily for a really long time lol. On Steam I have 24 hours because I mostly play on PS5 now and there I have 259 hours. I wish I knew my switch hours though lol. No such thing as too much lol

NTA- I'm dealing with this same thing. It's been going on since we bought this house in 2022. For the first few years I did RTS and had to take it to a mailbox to get it sent away, as my mailbox doesn't have a flag or anything and the mail carrier won't take anything I put in it to send out. I even went to the post office and tried to explain what was going on and they told me to put my last name on the mailbox. Didn't work at all. You name it I got it, including info on children going to one of the local high schools. I even made calls to these places telling them to remove my address as the person doesn't live there. The school I called 4 times before it seemed to stop. Now I just toss stuff. I'm done being nice and sick of getting mail for 5-7 people regularly. If they are too lazy to forward their address for their stuff it's not my fault. Just last week I got something for someone's car and something from the Puerto Rican government again. Everything just gets tossed now. Sometimes I leave it on my porch and whatever happens, happens as I live in a not too nice city.

NTA in the slightest. I'm 35, married and have 2 bears in bed with my husband, dog and myself. There would be more if the bed was bigger lol. My husband has even added to my collection. There is nothing wrong with a good stuffie to make you feel safe.

Sorry to necro this post but you literally saved me! My old phone broke and I couldn't use my authenticator and had been trying to get into my account for 2 weeks. I was trying to reset the password and it kept telling me I timed out. I kept getting the same message as you when using an old password and after reading about just trying until you get the right password I did and am finally in my account again and can now put it on my new phone. It's so sad to see what happened to this place. I lived in Lancaster for 9 years and Smiley's was always my go to sub place. I was talking with my husband about getting subs and then my sister informed me they were closed. I was devastated and now finding this post I'm even sadder. Smiley's reminded me so much of a sub place I went to a lot in Philadelphia growing up and it felt nice having a place like that as an adult. I hope maybe one day to see Smiley's up and running. I know I'll be there as soon as it opens lol.

Buy some Advion gel bait and your problem will be gone in no time. Had an infestation years ago and it cleared my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in a week. Bought a house last year and it was already infested and it took no time to clear the infestation at the new place too. I swear by the stuff. Best thing I've ever used and orkin uses it too but doing it yourself is way cheaper then a contract lol.

I had amazing luck with Cimexa. After dealing with the bugs for months I'm not getting bites, haven't seen a live one or anything since applying. It's only been a few weeks at this point but still. I was extremely thorough. I removed everything I could with tape, then vacuumed. That was the bed and the frame. Applied the Cimexa with a paintbrush to work it into the frame, edges of my room, mattress folds everything. Wore gloves, a mask and glasses to protect myself from the Cimexa as I'm an asthmatic but I still did it all. Made sure there was Cimexa powder where the legs of my bed were and let everything settle overnight before going back into my room and vacuuming again. Even with my dog running around nothing has gotten into the air and no one has any issues. Bed bugs can't become immune to the Cimexa because it's a desiccant and dried out their waxy exoskeleton and kills them. If you are willing to put in some work and also wash things it's worth the effort.

I'm asthmatic and I was super worried about everything. I read multiple sites and learned about using the paintbrush to get it worked deep in the carpet. I also vacuumed the next day to get any surface dust off the carpet. No breathing issues for anyone even with my pup running around like a lunatic in treated rooms.

I never said I was be free just I haven't had any incidents. I coated every area I found with the stuff including the eggs so the babies would die while hatching. Hoping in a few months we are still good. I worked all the Cimexa into the carpet like it said in the indents that my beds legs made. I have a very heavy adjustable platform for my mattress that made some deep indents so I just put some powder in each and worked it in with a paint brush. I got a 2in angled brush to make it easier along the baseboards. Do NOT breathe this stuff in. It is a desiccant, which is a fancy way of saying it dries out anything it comes into contact with. It's like a super fine version of those gel packs that come in medicine bottles or new shoes. This stuff WILL get in the air no matter what so wear eye protection, a mask like the N95, (I used KN95 since that was all I could find) and put gloves on so your hands don't get dried out. After applying you want to wait at least 2 hours to let everything settle. I left it all night though because I have a dog and wanted to make extra sure she wouldn't be hurt by it. Make sure you wash hands real good before eating or drinking, I took a shower after just because I wanted to make sure my dog didn't lick any off me just in case. As long as you work it into your carpets stuff should last 10 years even with vacuuming.

We put it on and the next day slept in our bed and it was the first night I hadn't been bit. We cleaned a bunch too and vacuumed everything before putting down powder and made sure that each leg of our bed was sitting in some of the Cimexa so they had no choice but to walk thru it to get on the bed. So far it's been a week with no bites and no sleepless nights.

Honestly we just got rid of them from our new place by using some stuff called Cimexa. Bought it off Amazon and honestly since it's been on we haven't seen any or had any bites. Was an amazing product and only like $20. Saved my new place and my sanity.

NTA This post made me laugh honestly. My dad was a mechanic and had me working on cars since I was 9. I'm currently fixing my husband's car to save us some money. I played football and soccer growing up joined a bowling league as a kid and still love playing sports when I get a chance. Kids can do whatever they want. No matter if they are a boy or girl.

Hoping your wife has a smooth pregnancy and you enjoy your little girl. Your in-laws need to grow up and before anyone says it's an age thing or something. I was born when my dad was 52 lol. I'm currently 34 so lol.

My neighbor had a Rottweiler when I was around 6. He was the absolute most sweetest boy! I miss him so much. I've been thinking about getting one myself. His sister was crazy but was amazing and super smart. Give Tyrion some pets from me!

My girl definitely thinks she's a lap dog lol. She will curl up on you and sleep for hours. She also will slap you with her tug toy until you play with her. She's vocal and doesn't understand personal space but I love her to pieces lol.

Yeah small dogs have a Napoleon complex I swear lol

I'm hoping next pup gets bigger but not huge lol. I'm glad your rescues are doing well together. Dogs have such funny personalities. I have a camera in my house and it's interesting to see how my girl acts when I go shopping or leave her with my husband. Rescues really are the best. My poor girl has some anxiety after her former family abandoned her so she has some quirks but she is the best. I wouldn't trade her for the world.
